About this route

Embark on an immersive Indonesian diving journey, where you'll experience a comprehensive 22-dive itinerary. The adventure begins with your seamless transfer from Labuan Bajo airport, leading directly to the waiting vessel. Each day unfolds with incredible underwater explorations, typically featuring four distinct dives, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the vibrant ecosystems. Expect exhilarating drift dives through channels and stunning wall dives, bringing you face-to-face with majestic manta rays, diverse sharks, and enigmatic pygmy seahorses. The week culminates in the return to Labuan Bajo, where after a final breakfast, you'll be transferred back to the airport. This well-paced schedule ensures ample opportunity to discover the rich marine biodiversity of the region’s renowned dive sites.

Day-by-day plan

  1. Day 1: Embarkation in Labuan Bajo

    Labuan Bajo

    Pickup from Komodo airport, transfer to the harbour and welcome on board. After briefings, the vessel sails north for a relaxed check dive at Sebayur as the sun sets.

  2. Day 2: Central Komodo — Manta Day

    Central Komodo

    Three dives along the central corridor include Batu Bolong's coral-covered pinnacle, the long drift of Tatawa Besar over orange soft corals, and Mawan's reliable manta cleaning station.

  3. Day 3: North Komodo — Castle & Crystal

    North Komodo

    The exposed pinnacles of Castle Rock and Crystal Rock attract schooling trevally, dogtooth tuna and reef sharks. The Cauldron rounds off the day with an exhilarating drift in the right conditions.

  4. Day 4: Komodo Island & Pink Beach

    Komodo Island

    A morning trek inside Komodo National Park offers the chance to observe Komodo dragons. Two afternoon dives at Pink Beach and Siaba Besar showcase turtles, healthy reefs and macro critters.

  5. Day 5: Padar & Three Sisters

    Padar

    Three Sisters and Padar Pinnacle expose divers to thrilling current dives with grey reef sharks and pelagic schools. A more sheltered dive at Pillarsteen rewards macro lovers with frogfish and nudibranchs.

  6. Day 6: South Komodo — Manta Alley & Rinca

    South Komodo

    Manta Alley delivers reef-manta encounters around volcanic outcrops in cool water. Cannibal Rock and Yellow Wall add dramatic colour with sea apples, frogfish and a rainbow of soft corals.

  7. Day 7: Return North — Wainilu & Sebayur

    Central Komodo

    On the return cruise, Wainilu offers a relaxed muck dive with frogfish and nudibranchs, while a final reef dive near Sebayur closes the diving week on a gentle note.

  8. Day 8: Disembarkation in Labuan Bajo

    Labuan Bajo

    After breakfast, guests disembark in Labuan Bajo and are transferred to Komodo airport. Please respect the 24-hour no-fly window after the final dive.
