This exciting Red Sea liveaboard journey explores the historical wrecks and vibrant reefs of Egypt. Discover ancient maritime history with dives to century-old wrecks, including the iconic SS Thistlefgorm, often found in a 30-meter depth zone. The trip also offers incredible experiences within the protected national park of Ras Mohammed, home to over 480 species of fish and some of the world's most beautiful coral ecosystems. Divers can expect to encounter diverse marine life and stunning underwater landscapes.
Upon arrival at the airport, guests will be met and transferred to the marina for embarkation. After settling into cabins and a welcome briefing, the evening will be spent on board.
After breakfast, a comprehensive program and safety briefing will be provided before departing the marina. The boat will then set sail, with your first dive scheduled after lunch. The day concludes with an enjoyable night dive in the large El Gouna area, known for its vibrant reef systems and diverse fish population.
Today's dives focus on the renowned wrecks of Abu Nuhas. Two dives are planned around these historic sites, offering opportunities to explore the fascinating underwater structures. After lunch, a third dive will be conducted, followed by a potential night dive if conditions permit. This area is famous for its collection of shipwrecks, creating unique habitats for marine life.
The day begins with an early morning dive before an approximately two-hour sailing trip to the Gubal Strait. This area on the eastern shores of the Sinai Peninsula offers excellent diving opportunities with its rich biodiversity. Two dives will be proposed in this region, with the possibility of an additional night dive depending on conditions and guest preference.
Today's itinerary takes you to the legendary SS Thistlegorm wreck, a world-renowned dive site in the Red Sea. This iconic British merchant navy ship, sunk in 1941, lies at a depth of around 30 meters and offers incredible penetration opportunities. Later, the boat sails to Shaab Mahmud, where another dive is planned. The day concludes with a night dive, conditions permitting.
The day starts with a early morning dive before sailing towards the stunning Ras Mohammed Marine Park. This protected area is famous for its vibrant coral gardens that cascade down dizzying drop-offs, teeming with thousands of colorful fish. After lunch, the boat heads south, with a third dive scheduled. An optional night dive may be added based on conditions, offering a different perspective of the reef's nocturnal inhabitants.
The final two dives of the trip take place in the Safaga area, near the marina of return. These dives offer stunning drop-offs and a chance to rinse equipment. The last dive is scheduled early enough to allow ample time to clean and pack gear before sailing to the marina. An afternoon arrival in Safaga is planned, with leisure activities available and an entertaining Friday afternoon.
Guests will check out from the boat after breakfast, with transfers arranged to the airport or hotel according to individual flight schedules. The trip concludes with cherished memories of the Red Sea's incredible underwater world.
