This advanced diving safari explores Egypt's famed Golden Triangle, a route encompassing the legendary offshore reefs of the Brothers Islands, Daedalus, and Elphinstone. The itinerary is designed for experienced divers seeking thrilling encounters with pelagic species. Day-by-day plan

  1. Day 1: Embarkation in Safaga

    Upon arrival at the airport, guests are transferred to the marina in Safaga. After boarding the vessel, you will be assigned your cabin and have time to get acquainted with the liveaboard.

  2. Day 2: Check Dives & Departure

    The day begins with a comprehensive briefing on the week's program and safety procedures, along with a check of diving certifications. Two initial dives are conducted at a nearby site before the boat embarks on a six-hour overnight journey to the Brothers Islands.

  3. Day 3: Brothers Islands

    Brothers Islands

    The vessel focuses its underwater exploration on the stunning walls of the Brothers Islands, conducting three dives. These volcanic formations host two renowned shipwrecks, the Numidia and the Aida II, both adorned with vibrant corals. Adhering to marine park guidelines, the vessel remains here for a single day before an overnight journey to Daedalus Reef.

  4. Day 4: Daedalus Reef

    Daedalus Reef

    The day begins with an early start, offering three dives at Daedalus Reef, a substantial offshore formation celebrated for its remarkable coral abundance. This location is outstanding for encounters with schooling hammerhead sharks. A trip to the reef's historic lighthouse might be possible, providing extensive vistas.

  5. Day 5: Daedalus Reef & Coastal Transit

    Daedalus Reef

    Depending on conditions, two or three final dives are made at Daedalus Reef. Afterwards, the vessel begins a seven-hour sail towards the coast, mooring for the night in the sheltered area of Abu Dabbab. A night dive may be offered upon arrival.

  6. Day 6: Elphinstone Reef

    Elphinstone Reef

    Today's diving focuses on the legendary Elphinstone Reef, with two or three dives along its current-swept plateaus and walls. This site is famous for its abundant soft corals and frequent sightings of oceanic whitetip sharks. The boat returns to Abu Dabbab for the night, where a night dive may be conducted if not done previously.

  7. Day 7: Final Dives & Return to Port

    One or two final dives are conducted in the morning, schedules permitting. After the last dive, guests can rinse their equipment before the boat sails back to the home port, concluding the diving portion of the trip.

  8. Day 8: Disembarkation

    After a final breakfast on board, guests will disembark. Transfers to the local airport or hotels will be arranged according to individual travel schedules.
