This extensive two-week voyage offers a comprehensive exploration of the Egyptian Red Sea's most renowned sites. Designed for experienced divers, the trip covers everything from historic northern wrecks to the vibrant marine parks of Tiran and Ras Mohamed. The itinerary also includes iconic locations like the Dahab Blue Hole before heading south to encounter the pelagic species of the southern Red Sea, providing a complete overview of Egypt's underwater treasures. Day-by-day plan

  1. Day 1: Arrival

    Safaga

    Upon arrival at the airport, guests are transferred to the marina. After boarding the vessel and being assigned a cabin, there is time to settle in and explore the liveaboard.

  2. Day 2: Departure from Hurghada

    Hurghada area

    The day begins with a welcome briefing and equipment check. The first dive is a checkout dive near the marina, followed by a second dive in the Hurghada area after lunch. The boat then travels north to El Gouna to anchor for the night.

  3. Day 3: Tiran

    Tiran

    The agenda focuses entirely on Tiran Island, nestled close to Sinai. Three separate dives are scheduled for the day. The first descent is at Thomas Reef, known for its vibrant drop-off. Subsequent dives take place at Jackson Reef and Gordon Reef. Following these underwater explorations, the vessel makes its way to Ras Abou Gallum.

  4. Day 4: Ras Abou Gallum

    Ras Abou Gallum

    Diving takes place in the protected and biodiverse area of Ras Abou Gallum. The day includes three dives, beginning with one on a drop-off and two more in the area's beautiful coral gardens.

  5. Day 5: Dahab

    Dahab

    The day begins as the vessel arrives in Dahab, allowing for an exploration of the famous Blue Hole. Subsequent dives include a visit to the Canyon, and a final submersion at the Island, a stunning coral formation.

  6. Day 6: Ras Mohamed and Thistlegorm

    Ras Mohamed Marine Park

    The morning unfolds with two exhilarating dives, plunging into the dramatic drop-offs of Ras Mohamed Marine Park, where kaleidoscopic fish schools teem. After a satisfying lunch, the boat makes its way to the famous SS Thistlegorm wreck for the day's third underwater exploration.

  7. Day 7: Thistlegorm and Gubal

    Strait of Gubal

    Discover the SS Thistlegorm wreck, enjoying a minimum of two dives. Afterward, the vessel traverses the Strait of Gubal, a two-hour trip leading to the diminutive island of Gubal, where the day's final dive takes place.

  8. Day 8: Abu Nuhas and Hurghada

    Abu Nuhas

    During the morning, two dives will explore the Abu Nuhas wrecks. Afterwards, the ship sails southward, heading for Hurghada for the third dive. If guests are interested, a night dive could be arranged before the vessel anchors in a protected spot.

  9. Day 9: Brothers Islands

    Brothers Islands

    Following a night of travel, the day is spent exploring the dramatic walls of the Brothers Islands with three distinct dives. Park rules dictate a single-day visit here, after which the vessel navigates to Daedalus under the cover of darkness.

  10. Day 10: Daedalus

    Daedalus Reef

    Three submersions are planned at Daedalus Reef. This location frequently offers opportunities to spot hammerhead sharks. Depending on local regulations, a trip to the reef's vintage lighthouse might also be possible.

  11. Day 11: Rocky & Zabargad Islands

    Rocky & Zabargad Islands

    Proceeding southward, the journey encompasses Rocky Island and Zabargad, offering opportunities for three dives. The divemaster will determine optimal locations considering both weather patterns and the presence of other boats nearby.

  12. Day 12: St. John's

    St. John's

    Dawn brings the vessel to the St. John’s reef network. Over the course of the day, three dives are slated, with particular locations selected by the guide for optimal conditions, considering current weather patterns and other boat activity.

  13. Day 13: Fury Shoals & Sheleneyat

    Fury Shoals / Wadi Gemal

    The vessel begins its journey northward, stopping at Sataya (Dolphin House) in the Fury Shoals area for an opportunity to swim with dolphins. The trip then continues to the Sheleneyat site in Wadi Gemal for a twilight or night dive.

  14. Day 14: Elphinstone Reef

    Marsa Alam

    On the last day, adventurers will descend twice at the renowned Elphinstone Reef, situated close to Marsa Alam. With diving concluded, the vessel embarks on a two-hour journey, arriving at Port Ghalib Marina by afternoon. Here, guests have the opportunity to clean their equipment and unwind.

  15. Day 15: Departure

    Port Ghalib

    After a final breakfast on board, guests disembark in Port Ghalib for their transfers to the airport or local hotels, concluding the trip.
