Wobbegong sharks, also known as carpet sharks, are masters of camouflage. Their flattened bodies and ornate skin patterns allow them to blend perfectly with the reef, waiting to ambush unsuspecting prey.

Look carefully on reef ledges, under tables corals, and in swim-throughs. Their camouflage is extraordinarily good. Never place hands under reef ledges without looking first.
