The area is also famous for its two notable wrecks, the Aida and the Numidia, offering fascinating historical exploration alongside abundant reef life.

Continuing our exploration of the Brothers Islands, divers will have further opportunities to experience the deep walls and strong currents that attract large pelagic species. The Aida, a 75-meter Egyptian troop carrier, rests at 24m and offers extensive penetration, while the Numidia, a 145-meter British freighter, lies deeper at 70m with its bow reaching 10m. These dives combine historical intrigue with the vibrant ecosystems that thrive on the wrecks and surrounding reefs.

Today, the vessel reaches Daedalus Reef, a large, isolated circular reef located 100 miles south of the Brothers Islands. This remote site is known for its impressive hard coral formations and the possibility of strong currents, which often attract schooling fish and larger pelagics. Divers can explore the sheer walls of the reef, with excellent chances to spot various shark species and manta rays. The unique lighthouse at its center also provides a scenic topside view.

Further exploration of Daedalus Reef offers more opportunities to experience its rich marine ecosystem. The northern part of the reef is frequently visited due to favorable conditions and potential encounters with scalloped hammerheads and oceanic whitetip sharks. The southern side features beautiful soft corals and black coral trees, along with large anemones housing clownfish. The eastern wall is composed of madreporic formations, while a coral 'pyramid' formation adds to the reef's diverse topography.

The day is dedicated to diving Elphinstone Reef, one of the Red Sea's most spectacular sites, known for its dramatic walls and rich coral growth. The reef features a plateau descending to 25 meters on the north side and a deeper drop-off at 45 meters with strong currents. Both the east and west walls are adorned with diverse soft corals, gorgonians, and black corals. Elphinstone is particularly famous for frequent sightings of sharks, tuna, and large schools of jacks.

Continuing at Elphinstone Reef, divers will explore its southern section, which is unique for a natural archway opening up to 55 meters, offering an impressive sight. The northern section is well-suited for multiple dives, with strong currents often bringing in a variety of marine life. This reef provides excellent opportunities for drift dives along its vibrant walls, promising encounters with a wide array of reef fish and pelagic species.

After a final breakfast on board, guests will disembark in Port Ghalib by 10am. Transfers will be arranged for onward travel, concluding an unforgettable dive adventure in the Red Sea's most iconic sites.
