About Turks & Caicos Aggressor II
The Turks & Caicos Aggressor II offers dive expeditions across the Turks & Caicos Islands, providing access to diverse wall diving environments.
South of the Bahamas, the seafloor drops away abruptly, forming a deep oceanic trench that separates the Turks Islands from the Caicos Islands. This submarine geography creates some of the most dramatic wall diving in the Caribbean. Sheer vertical faces, beginning in shallow water, plummet thousands of feet into the abyss, their surfaces covered in vibrant sponges, huge gorgonian sea fans, and stands of black coral. These nutrient-rich currents attract a healthy population of Caribbean reef sharks, curious groupers, and schools of jacks. The Turks & Caicos Aggressor II is purpose-built to position divers directly along these spectacular underwater cliffs.
Diving operations are organized for maximum bottom time. Divers are ferried to precise drop-in points via two large tenders, ensuring quick access to the action. Back on the main ship, the spacious dive deck features individual gear stations, freshwater rinse bins, and a multi-level camera table with charging points and air hoses. Nitrox is available for certified divers looking to extend their exploration of the deeper wall sections. An experienced crew of guides leads all excursions, offering briefings and in-water assistance to help guests navigate the topography. The daily schedule typically includes up to five dives, offering varied perspectives from morning light to the nocturnal activity after sunset.
Onboard life is designed for comfort and relaxation between dives. The vessel accommodates a maximum of 18 guests in nine well-appointed staterooms, available in Master, Deluxe, and Twin-Share configurations. Each cabin includes a private ensuite bathroom, individual air-conditioning controls, and a personal media player, providing a quiet retreat. Social spaces are plentiful, from the air-conditioned main saloon where guests can review photos, to the shaded wet bar and alfresco lounge on the upper deck. A top-level sundeck offers an open-air spot for sunbathing, while a hot tub provides a warm reprieve after the day's final dive.
The culinary program is a central part of the onboard experience. An onboard chef prepares a diverse menu of American-style dishes with infusions of local Caribbean flavors. Meals are served buffet-style in the interior dining room, fostering a friendly, communal atmosphere where divers can share stories from their underwater excursions. Freshly prepared snacks and fruits are always available between dives to keep energy levels high. The crew can accommodate most special dietary requirements with advance notification. A selection of soft drinks, juices, local beer, and wine is included, completing the dining service throughout the trip.
The Turks & Caicos Aggressor II measures 36.6 meters in length with a stable 6.7-meter beam, providing a solid platform for open-water conditions. Its 10-knot cruising speed allows for comfortable and consistent travel between the island groups. The yacht is fully self-sufficient for its weekly expeditions, equipped with large-capacity watermakers and extensive fuel and provision storage. With ten bathrooms for nine guest cabins, facilities are always accessible. The vessel’s design prioritizes space and functional comfort for its 18-guest capacity, ensuring a smooth journey through the region's marine-protected areas.
The vessel runs year-round itineraries exploring the Turks & Caicos Islands, with all trips beginning and ending in Providenciales. Standard weekly charters focus on the famous walls off Providenciales, West Caicos, and French Caye, known for their abundant reef sharks and healthy coral systems. From January through March, special charters are offered that include opportunities for soft-in-water encounters with migrating humpback whales. This liveaboard is an excellent choice for intermediate to advanced divers who are passionate about wall diving and large animal encounters. Underwater photographers will appreciate the dramatic vertical landscapes and consistent shark sightings.
