About Red Sea Blue Force 2
The Red Sea Blue Force 2 is a 28-meter liveaboard providing access to Egypt's diverse underwater environments for up to 18 guests in 9 cabins.
The Red Sea’s high salinity and relative geologic isolation have fostered an ecosystem with a significant percentage of endemic marine life. Its formation as a tectonic rift valley results in dramatic underwater topography, where coastal fringing reefs suddenly give way to deep walls and offshore pinnacles. These structures are colonized by some of the world's most resilient hard coral communities. Nutrient-rich currents, drawn up from the depths, also attract a consistent presence of pelagic species. The Red Sea Blue Force 2 is designed specifically to navigate these waters, offering divers a competent platform from which to explore this distinct marine environment.
Diving logistics are managed for efficiency and direct site access. Two tender boats transport divers to precise drop-off points and provide surface support for prompt post-dive pickups. The main vessel features a well-organized dive deck with individual stations for gear setup and storage, ensuring divers are prepared for each immersion. There is also dedicated space for managing camera equipment. All dives are led by experienced local guides who are proficient in navigating the complex reef systems and locating the region's characteristic marine inhabitants, ensuring both safety and productive exploration.
Life aboard is structured around comfort and relaxation between dives. The vessel accommodates a maximum of 18 guests in nine private cabins, distributed across the upper and lower decks. Every cabin includes its own ensuite bathroom, complete with a warm water shower, providing a personal space for every guest. For social time, a contemporary air-conditioned salon on the main deck serves as the primary indoor gathering area. On the upper deck, a shaded outdoor lounge offers an alternative space for enjoying the sea breeze and reviewing the day's underwater encounters.
The culinary experience is a key part of the daily routine, designed to keep divers energized for a full schedule of activities. The onboard chef prepares a variety of international and local dishes, served in a communal dining setting. Meals are typically offered buffet-style, allowing guests to choose from a selection of freshly made options. The galley team is able to accommodate most special dietary needs, provided that notice is given prior to the trip. A range of beverages is available to complement meals and for refreshment throughout the day.
Constructed as a dedicated dive liveaboard, the 28-meter Red Sea Blue Force 2 has a stable 7-meter beam, providing a solid footing in open water. Its hull is designed to handle the varied conditions of the Red Sea, from calm coastal routes to longer crossings to offshore reef systems. The vessel operates with a maximum of 18 guests, an arrangement that prevents crowding and maintains a good crew-to-guest ratio. An ample onboard freshwater production and storage system supports the ten bathrooms and daily dive operations, ensuring consistent comfort throughout the voyage.
Itineraries on the Red Sea Blue Force 2 cover the full spectrum of Egyptian diving, with routes scheduled year-round to both the northern and southern regions. Northern trips typically focus on the classic sites of the Sinai Peninsula and the wrecks of the Abu Nuhas reef. Southern itineraries venture to more remote and demanding offshore marine parks, known for their powerful currents and encounters with large oceanic predators. Departing from major Egyptian ports, this vessel is well-suited for certified divers who prioritize a functional, dive-focused operation and wish to experience a comprehensive cross-section of the Red Sea’s most significant underwater sites.
