Hulhumale
Upon arrival at Velana International Airport (MLE), you will be met and transferred to the vessel. After settling in, there will be a comprehensive welcome briefing covering safety procedures and the trip plan. The evening is for relaxation and dinner as the boat moors for the night.
North Malé Atoll / Baa Atoll
The adventure begins with a check dive in North Malé Atoll to ensure all divers are comfortable and equipment is in order. Following the first dive, the boat will commence its crossing towards Baa Atoll. Depending on the timing, a second dive may be offered en route.

Baa Atoll
Today focuses on the world-renowned Hanifaru Bay, a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. As diving is prohibited inside the bay, you will snorkel with potentially massive congregations of manta rays and possible whale sharks. The day also includes dives at nearby sites like Dhonfanu Thila, known for its beautiful topography.

Good to know: Activities in Hanifaru Bay are snorkeling-only to protect the ecosystem and feeding animals. Sightings are seasonal and depend on plankton levels.
Baa Atoll / North Ari Atoll
Enjoy a final morning of diving in Baa Atoll, exploring some of its celebrated pinnacles teeming with fish life. After the dives, the vessel will start its journey south towards North Ari Atoll. The afternoon is for relaxing on deck during the crossing.

North Ari Atoll
The day is spent at some of the most famous sites in North Ari Atoll. Dives at places like Fish Head offer encounters with grey reef sharks, while Maaya Thila is a highlight for its thrilling night dive amidst hunting sharks and moray eels.

South Ari Atoll
The boat cruises down to the southern portion of Ari Atoll, a primary feeding ground for whale sharks. The day is dedicated to searching for these gentle giants along the outer reef for a chance to snorkel or dive with them. Dives will also explore stunning local sites like Kudarah Thila.

South Ari Atoll / South Malé Atoll
Start the day with a dive at a manta ray cleaning station in Ari Atoll before crossing towards South Malé Atoll. The afternoon's dives will be in the exciting channels of South Malé, such as Guraidhoo Corner, which attract sharks, eagles rays, and schools of jacks.
Dive sites: Moofushi Manta Point, Guraidhoo Corner, Kandooma Thila
South Malé Atoll
Enjoy the last one or two dives of the trip, exploring a vibrant reef or an interesting wreck in South Malé Atoll. After diving, the boat will return to its mooring near Hulhumale, where you can rinse gear and enjoy a farewell dinner.

Hulhumale / Malé
After a final breakfast on board, it is time to say goodbye to the crew and your fellow divers. You will be transferred to Velana International Airport (MLE) for your onward journey.
