Male
Upon arrival at Velana International Airport (MLE), you will be transferred to the vessel. After settling in, a comprehensive boat and safety briefing will be conducted, followed by dinner as you get to know the crew and fellow divers.
Good to know: No diving on the day of arrival.
South Male Atoll
The diving adventure begins in the channels of South Male Atoll. These drift dives are an excellent opportunity to spot grey reef sharks, eagle rays, and large schools of fish navigating the currents.
Vaavu Atoll
Today is spent exploring the famed channels of Vaavu Atoll, known for their high-energy drift dives and abundant fish life, including jacks and barracudas. The day may conclude with a spectacular night dive, offering a chance to see nurse sharks and stingrays in their element.
Thaa Atoll
After an early morning crossing further south, the yacht reaches the less-frequented Thaa Atoll. Dives here reveal pristine coral gardens and a wide diversity of marine species, offering a sense of remote exploration.
Good to know: A long-distance crossing is typically undertaken to reach this atoll.
Laamu Atoll
Dive into the exhilarating currents of Laamu Atoll, a highlight for advanced divers. The famous Fushi Kandu channel attracts large predators like sharks and tuna, providing an action-packed day of diving.

South Ari Atoll
The vessel begins its journey north, cruising towards South Ari Atoll, a globally recognized hotspot for whale sharks. The day is dedicated to searching for these magnificent creatures for a potential snorkeling or diving encounter. The evening often features a memorable barbecue on a deserted island.
Good to know: Whale shark sightings are common but not guaranteed. An evening beach BBQ may be organized, weather permitting.
North Male Atoll / South Male Atoll
The last two dives of the trip take place back in the central atolls. This could be a visit to a manta ray cleaning station or a vibrant pinnacle dive before the boat makes its final cruise back towards the port near Male.
Good to know: The last dives are planned to allow for sufficient off-gassing time before flying.

After enjoying a final breakfast onboard with your new friends, it is time to disembark. You will be transferred to Velana International Airport (MLE) for your departure.
Good to know: It is recommended to book flights departing in the afternoon.
