Day-by-day plan

  1. Day 1: Embarkation – Malé

    Guests will arrive at Malé and check-in to the Adora liveaboard. After settling into cabins and receiving a welcome briefing, the vessel will depart for the first dive location.

  2. Day 2: North Malé Atoll – Thila Diving

    Today's dives focus on the North Malé Atoll, starting with Kurumba Faru for a check dive, followed by Lankan Mantas. This region is renowned for its thilas and pinnacles, offering diverse reef structures with strong currents. Commonly sighted marine life includes manta rays, reef sharks, and schooling barracudas.

  3. Day 3: North Malé Atoll – Channel Dives

    The day continues with dives in the North Malé Atoll, exploring Dhonfan Gas and Dhonfan Thila. These sites are often channel dives, known for their strong currents that bring in nutrient-rich waters. The area is known for excellent visibility and a high density of reef fish, attracting various pelagic species.

  4. Day 4: Baa Atoll – Marine Richness

    Today's dives take place in the Baa Atoll, a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, focusing on Dhigu Thila and Rasdhoo Manta Point. This atoll is globally recognized for its exceptional marine biodiversity and is a prime location for encountering large pelagic life. The rich waters are often teeming with plankton, especially during the southwest monsoon, making it a hotspot for manta rays and whale sharks.

  5. Day 5: Baa Atoll – Hanifaru Bay Exploration

    The Adora continues its exploration of the Baa Atoll, visiting Rasdhoo Madivaru Kandu, Maya Thila, and Fasdhoo Wreck. The area encompasses incredible coral gardens and vibrant reefs that attract diverse fish populations. Hanifaru Bay itself is particularly famous as a seasonal gathering point for hundreds of manta rays and occasional whale sharks, particularly from July to November.

  6. Day 6: South Malé Atoll – Drift Diving

    Today focuses on the South Malé Atoll, known for its exhilarating drift dives and vibrant coral formations. Dive sites include Fish Head, Guradhoo Manta Point, and Villingili Giri. The continuous inflow of fresh ocean water supports an abundance of pelagic life, making it an exciting area for experienced divers.

  7. Day 7: South Malé Atoll – Final Dives

    The last full day of diving explores more sites in the South Malé Atoll, including Kandoomaa Thila and Kuda Giri Wreck. This region offers a rich diversity of marine encounters, from schooling fish to larger pelagics in the channels. The dives here provide a fitting end to the Maldivian adventure.

  8. Day 8: Disembarkation – Malé
