Seasonal monsoons propel strong currents through this submerged mountain range, funneling nutrient-rich water through deep channels, or kandus. This process fosters an abundance of life, from dense schools of fish to the larger predators that follow. Grey reef sharks, whitetips, and squadrons of eagle rays patrol the channel edges. Depending on the season, specific sites become cleaning stations for manta rays or feeding grounds for whale sharks. The Adora, a 37.5-meter motor yacht, is a platform built to navigate these dynamic waters, providing access to the region’s most productive pinnacle and channel dives. All diving is conducted from a dedicated 20-meter escort vessel, or dhoni. This approach keeps the main yacht free of wet gear and compressor noise. The dhoni is built for dive support, with individual stations, freshwater rinse tanks, and charging points for cameras. Divers are organized into small groups for personalized attention from experienced guides who know the atolls and can interpret current conditions.
