After boarding Tiaré in Labuan Bajo, you will enjoy a tour of the boat and settle in with breakfast on the boat. Sailing to Sabolan Kecil, you will have an afternoon dive before moving on to Sebayur Island for a night dive at the mini wall.
The schedule includes 3-4 dives daily, including a night dive, conditions permitting. During crossings, 2 dives per day are scheduled. Divers explore challenging sites off Gili Lawa Laut. Crystal Rock (named for the rock jutting out from crystal blue water) and Castle Rock feature a wide variety of healthy corals and an array of marine life. Cauldron (sometimes called Shotgun) and Gili Lawa Laut Lighthouse are other dive sites in this area, available for evening or night dives. Potential marine life sightings include crocodile fish, lionfish, eagle rays, reef sharks, and manta rays. Diving takes place off Komodo Island, where currents can be strong. Dives are timed in accordance with tides and weather conditions, so a number of dive sites may be visited. Takat Makassar Reef, Batu Bolong, and Tatawa Kecil are dive sites with soft and hard corals. 2 dives in the morning depending on guest flight schedules. After so many amazing dives, it’s time to meet the magnificent Komodo dragons on their own turf. Tour the island before heading back to the boat and sailing overnight to Labuan Bajo.
Marine Life: Bumphead parrotfish, bamboo sharks, marble rays, nudibranchs, dusky sharks, jawfish, bubble coral shrimps, leaf fish, porcelain crabs, pygmy seahorses, schools of barracudas, trevally, and mackerel, white tips, black tips, grey reef sharks, turtles, octopus, frogfish, manta rays, dugong, banded pipefishes, mandarin fishes, Wonderpus, Indian Walkman. Check-in time is 12:00 PM for all destinations. For early morning arrivals (from 6:00 AM) at embarkation points with limited flights, crew provides a direct transfer to the boat. Under normal conditions, the vessel is ready for departure by 2:00 PM, with clearance processes completed prior to guest arrival. Departure time is subject to the Harbor Master's approval. Delays may occur due to unforeseen circumstances or decisions by the Harbor Master. Check-out time is 9:00 AM. It is advised to confirm flight schedules for departures before 9:00 AM. All certification levels are accepted. Each trip has 3-4 dive guides. Dive groups are organized based on guest experience levels. The final dive of the trip takes place on the penultimate day.
