This diving safari explores the coastal waters of the southern Red Sea, renowned for its diverse reefs, dramatic walls, and vibrant hard coral gardens. Early morning dives often present opportunities to encounter hammerhead and grey reef sharks around prominent reef tips. The itinerary provides a comprehensive experience, covering some of the region's most iconic dive sites.
Guests arrive and check-in to the liveaboard in Port Ghalib. The evening includes dinner on board and the boat remains in the harbour for the first night.
The day begins with departure around 8 am, heading towards the Marsa Alam coast for initial check dives. Two dives are planned, including a night dive, before the vessel sets sail overnight for approximately 7 hours to reach Daedalus Reef, known for its remote location and abundant pelagic life.
Today focuses on diving at Daedalus Reef, a remote offshore reef recognized for its steep walls and strong currents. This area is commonly sighted with large pelagic species such as hammerhead and grey reef sharks, particularly on the northern plateau, which is also adorned with extensive soft coral formations.
Continuing exploration of Daedalus Reef with further dives, taking the total to 6 dives in this area. After the third dive of the day, the boat will begin its 5-hour journey to the Fury Shoals, preparing for upcoming dives in this renowned reef system.
Four dives are planned around the diverse reefs of Fury Shoals. This extensive reef system, including Shaab Sataya, is known for its dramatic shear walls and ancient amphorae, offering varied topography. A night dive is included, with possible dive sites such as Claudia, Malahi, Maksour, and Abu Galawa small. Following dinner, the vessel sails for 7 hours to Elphinstone.

Three dives are scheduled around Elphinstone Reef, contingent on weather conditions. This famous and exposed reef is celebrated for its sheer walls covered in vibrant soft corals. It is a prime location for early morning encounters with hammerhead and grey reef sharks, making it a highlight for many divers. A night dive is also included.
The final diving day includes two local dives before the vessel commences its return journey to the harbour. The boat is expected to arrive back at the harbour by 3 pm, allowing guests to relax and reflect on their week of diving.
Guests check out from the liveaboard after breakfast, with disembarkation expected no later than noon.
