This classic Red Sea itinerary, often called 'Simply the Best', targets three of the most highly-rated offshore marine parks: the Brothers Islands, Daedalus Reef, and Elphinstone. This route is designed for experienced divers seeking thrilling deep walls, strong currents, and encounters with large pelagic species. Dives often involve sheer drop-offs covered in vibrant soft corals and huge gorgonian sea fans, with the ever-present possibility of spotting oceanic whitetip sharks, hammerheads, and even thresher sharks. The trip also includes dives on the famous Numidia and Aida II wrecks at Big Brother island, making for a comprehensive and challenging Red Sea adventure.
Board the vessel in Port Ghalib starting in the late afternoon. After settling into your cabin, you'll attend a welcome briefing, meet the crew, and set up your dive gear. Dinner is the first meal served onboard, and the vessel remains docked in port for the night.
The vessel departs early for the first day of diving. The itinerary includes a check dive and a second dive at a coastal reef to ensure all divers are comfortable and properly weighted. A night dive is also planned before the boat begins the overnight crossing to the remote Brothers Islands.
The day is spent at Big Brother island, the larger of the two pinnacles, marked by its iconic lighthouse. Dives focus on its dramatic walls, which are home to the wrecks of the Numidia and Aida II. These historic vessels are now fantastic artificial reefs, covered in soft corals and hosting abundant marine life. In the blue, be on the lookout for Napoleon wrasse, tuna, and grey reef sharks.

Today's dives are at Little Brother, famous for its incredible density of life and pristine coral walls. The currents here attract large schools of fish and numerous predators. The plateaus are prime locations for encounters with silky, silvertip, and grey reef sharks, while the deep blue offers a chance to spot the elusive thresher shark. After the day's diving, the boat sails towards Daedalus Reef.
Dive sites: Little Brother
Diving at Daedalus Reef, the most offshore reef in Egypt's Red Sea, known for its pristine condition and chances for big animal encounters. The reef's northern point is a world-renowned location for spotting schools of scalloped hammerheads. Its deep walls are patrolled by giant trevallies and dogtooth tuna, offering some of the most spectacular diving in the region. After three dives, the vessel begins the passage to Elphinstone.
Dive sites: Daedalus Reef
The morning is dedicated to Elphinstone, a legendary reef with sheer walls plunging into the deep, adorned with vibrant pink and red soft corals. It's a classic drift dive, with plateaus at the north and south ends that act as magnets for pelagics like oceanic whitetip and hammerhead sharks. After two dives here, the boat travels to a coastal site near Marsa Alam for a third dive before sailing north towards Hurghada.
Dive sites: Elphinstone Reef
The final two dives of the safari take place at local reefs in the Hurghada area. These more relaxed dives are a perfect way to end the trip, exploring colorful coral gardens and searching for macro life. In the afternoon, the boat returns to the marina in Hurghada for the final night onboard.
Enjoy a final breakfast onboard with the crew and fellow guests. Cabin check-out is in the morning, followed by disembarkation from the vessel.
