Day-by-day plan

  1. Day 1: Embarkation – Port Ghalib

    Arrive at Port Ghalib, check in after 5 PM, and settle into your cabin. The evening includes dinner onboard, followed by an overnight stay at the port, preparing for the diving adventure ahead.

  2. Day 2: Marsa Alam Area – Transition to Big Brother

    The day begins with two dives in the Marsa Alam area, offering a gentle introduction to the Red Sea's vibrant reefs. Known for its extensive coral gardens and abundant reef fish, this region provides excellent warm-up dives. Following the Marsa Alam dives, the vessel will commence its overnight journey to the remote Big Brother Island, setting the stage for offshore diving.

  3. Day 3: Big Brother Island – Offshore Thrills

    Spend the entire day diving around Big Brother Island, an isolated pinnacle known for its dramatic walls and strong currents. The area often features vibrant soft corals and a profusion of pelagic life. Commonly sighted marine life includes grey reef sharks, hammerheads, and oceanic whitetip sharks, making it a thrilling destination for experienced divers.

  4. Day 4: Small Brother Island – Diverse Marine Life

    Today focuses on diving the incredible sites around Small Brother Island, renowned for its diverse marine ecosystem. This smaller island features stunning coral reefs, steep drop-offs, and two accessible wrecks, the Aida II and Numidia, which add an extra dimension to the dives. The strong currents often attract a variety of sharks, including whitetips and grey reef sharks, as well as large schools of fish.

    The day is dedicated to diving Elphinstone Reef, one of the most iconic and renowned dive sites in the Red Sea. This elongated reef is known for its stunning walls, impressive drop-offs, and vibrant soft coral gardens. Strong currents typically bring in pelagic visitors, including oceanic whitetip sharks and occasional hammerheads, while the reef itself teems with a rich diversity of marine life.

  7. Day 7: Marsa Alam Area & Port Ghalib – Final Dives

    Enjoy the final two to three dives of the trip in the Marsa Alam area, which offers beautiful reefs and a chance for relaxed diving. The area is characterized by sheltered bays and vibrant coral formations, often featuring garden eels, clownfish, and various reef inhabitants. After the dives, the boat will make its way back to Port Ghalib for the last overnight stay, reflecting on the week's encounters.

  8. Day 8: Disembarkation – Port Ghalib

    After a final breakfast onboard, guests will check out and transfer from the vessel. Disembarkation is typically by noon, concluding the diving expedition.
