This 6-day diving adventure explores the world-renowned Komodo National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site. The itinerary balances thrilling drift dives in the north with the iconic manta ray encounters of the central park. Along with stunning coral reefs and vibrant marine biodiversity, a highlight includes a land excursion to see the legendary Komodo dragons in their natural habitat.

Day-by-day plan

  1. Day 1: Embarkation in Labuan Bajo

    Labuan Bajo, Flores

    Guests will be welcomed aboard in Labuan Bajo harbor. After settling into cabins and attending a welcome briefing, the vessel will set sail for the park. The day includes a shallow check-dive at a nearby site to ensure all equipment is in order and divers are comfortable with their weighting before the main adventure begins.

  2. Day 2: Northern Komodo — Castle Rock & The Cauldron

    North Komodo National Park

    A full day of diving occurs in the action-packed northern region of Komodo, known for its strong currents and pelagic encounters. Divers descend on legendary offshore pinnacles like Castle Rock and Crystal Rock, which act as magnets for schooling fish, giant trevallies, and reef sharks. The day often features a thrilling drift through 'The Cauldron,' a channel where currents 'shoot' divers between islands, often with manta rays passing through.

  3. Day 3: Central Komodo — Manta Point & Batu Bolong

    Central Komodo National Park

    The vessel moves to the heart of Komodo to explore some of its most famous sites. The main event is Karang Makassar, also known as Manta Point, a vast cleaning and feeding station for dozens of reef manta rays. Another highlight is Batu Bolong, a rock pinnacle bursting with color and fish life, considered one of the world's most vibrant dive sites. Divers also explore the coral gardens of Tatawa Besar, looking for turtles and beautiful soft corals.

  4. Day 4: Rinca Island — Komodo Dragons & Padar

    Rinca & Padar Islands, Komodo National Park

    This day combines world-class diving with an unforgettable land adventure. In the morning, guests go ashore on Rinca Island for a guided trek to see the formidable Komodo dragons in the wild. Afterwards, divers explore the nutrient-rich waters around Padar Island, exploring beautiful reefs. The day may end with a sunset hike to Padar's iconic viewpoint for breathtaking panoramic photos of the park.

  5. Day 5: Final Dives & Return

    Central Komodo National Park

    The final day of diving begins as the vessel makes its way back towards Labuan Bajo. Guests enjoy two last dives at excellent central park sites, perhaps visiting Siaba Besar, a favorite spot for observing sea turtles, or another vibrant reef missed on the way out. After the dives, the crew washes down the gear while guests relax, enjoying the final afternoon cruising.

  6. Day 6: Disembarkation in Labuan Bajo

    Labuan Bajo, Flores

    Enjoy a final breakfast on the boat with the crew and fellow guests. After exchanging contacts and photos, it is time to disembark at Labuan Bajo. The crew will assist with transfers to the airport for onward flights or to a local hotel.
