Dining aboard the Jaya is a delightful culinary journey, with a focus on fresh, local Indonesian flavors. Guests enjoy a full-board meal plan, featuring three delicious meals served buffet-style each day. The menu is carefully crafted to offer variety, ensuring a satisfying experience even during extended trips at sea. In addition to main meals, a continuous supply of snacks is available throughout the day, perfect for refueling between dives. The crew is adept at catering to diverse dietary needs, with vegan and vegetarian options readily available. Guests with specific requirements, such as food allergies or religious dietary restrictions, are encouraged to communicate these during booking to ensure their needs are met with care and attention.
Indonesia sits at the heart of the Coral Triangle, the most biodiverse marine region on the planet, harboring over 75% of all known coral species and more than 3,000 species of reef fish. Divers exploring these waters encounter an astonishing range of marine life, from pygmy seahorses and flamboyant cuttlefish to oceanic manta rays and schools of mobula rays. The country's vast archipelago offers dramatically different diving experiences — from muck diving over volcanic black sand to exhilarating drift dives along current-swept walls. Healthy coral reefs explode with color, hosting dense colonies of soft corals, sea fans, and barrel sponges. Whale sharks visit seasonally in several regions, and rare species such as walking sharks (epaulette sharks) can be found in the eastern waters.

We strongly recommend all guests to purchase comprehensive dive accident insurance and trip cancellation insurance before departure. Dive accident insurance covers medical treatment, hyperbaric chamber costs, and emergency evacuation in the event of a diving incident. Trip cancellation insurance protects your financial investment — not only if you need to cancel or cut short your trip due to personal illness, injury, or other unforeseen circumstances, but also if the trip is postponed or cancelled by the operator due to severe weather, technical issues, or other operational reasons. In the unlikely event of operator insolvency, cancellation insurance can also help recover your payments. Please ensure your policies are valid for the entire duration of your trip and cover the planned activities.
