Embark on an 11-day liveaboard safari through the Alor Archipelago, a remote region known for its world-famous muck diving and diverse reefs. This itinerary focuses on exploring the rich marine ecosystems of Alor in the Savu Sea before crossing towards Maumere through the Flores Sea. The journey involves significant overnight travel between these stunning Indonesian diving destinations. Prepare for a unique underwater adventure with varied conditions and abundant marine life.
Upon arrival at Maumere airport, a representative will meet guests and arrange a transfer to Maumere harbor, approximately 20 minutes away. Guests will embark the S/Y Indo Siren and settle into their cabins. An evening briefing will outline the exciting journey ahead and safety procedures.
Today marks the beginning of diving in the Alor region, renowned for its dynamic muck diving sites and vibrant coral reefs within the Savu Sea. The area is known for strong currents that can lead to thrilling drift dives, showcasing a rich biodiversity of macro life and larger pelagic species. Visibility can vary, but generally offers excellent conditions for photography.

Continuing our exploration of Alor, today's dives will likely feature the thrilling drift diving the region is famous for, particularly around the Pantar Strait. After several days of exploring the muck and currents, today’s dives in Alor may highlight some of the region's pristine coral gardens and healthy reef systems. The visibility here is often exceptional, providing stunning panoramic views of the underwater landscape.

Today involves a significant transition as the vessel begins its journey from the Alor region towards Maumere, traversing the Flores Sea. This day will primarily be dedicated to long-distance, overnight travel. Guests can relax on board, review their dive logs, and enjoy the scenic views as the Indo Siren makes its way to the next diving destination.
Upon reaching the Flores Sea, diving activities resume with explorations around Pulau Lembata, featuring sites like Sizzler and The Jetty. The region is known for its diverse underwater topography, including vibrant reefs, walls, and occasional pinnacles. Currents can be present, offering potential drift dives with sightings of larger fish schools and pelagic species.

Today's dives in the Flores Sea continue to showcase its impressive biodiversity, with a focus on sites known for macro life, such as Rhino City. On the penultimate day, guests will enjoy two morning dives in the Flores Sea, ensuring plenty of time for proper off-gassing before disembarkation. These final dives are an opportunity to revisit favorite spots or explore new ones, focusing on the rich marine life and vibrant coral ecosystems. After the dives, the boat begins its journey towards Kalabahi for disembarkation.

Disembarkation is scheduled for 10 am at Kalabahi harbor. Guests will be transferred to the airport, which takes approximately 40 minutes. It is recommended to book international flights to or from major hubs like Jakarta or Bali, and allow for an extra day on either side of the cruise for domestic connections and rest.
