About this route

This 13-day advanced-level voyage is dedicated to exploring the remote and biodiverse waters of Triton Bay, starting and ending its loop in Kaimana. The trip is designed for experienced divers, requiring a minimum of 50 logged dives, and includes approximately 33 dives. Guests will have the chance to witness the area's famed marine life, which includes over 75% of the world's coral species, manta rays, various sharks, and countless reef fish.

Day-by-day plan

  1. Day 1: Embarkation in Kaimana & Namatota Island

    Kaimana / Namatota Island

    Arrive in Kaimana and transfer to the vessel for a welcome briefing and gear setup. The voyage begins, steaming towards Namatota Island for the trip's check-out dive on a vertical wall draped in soft corals and sea fans, followed by refreshments on a nearby beach.

  2. Day 2: Diving Pulau Aiduma

    Pulau Aiduma / Triton Bay Area

    Today features three distinct dives showcasing Triton Bay's diversity. Experience the calm, colorful 'Aquarium,' feel the thrill of drifting along current-swept ridges at Andy's Point, and conclude with a serene dive at White Rock as flasher wrasses dance in the afternoon light.

  3. Day 3: Currents of Pintu Arus & Little Komodo

    Pintu Arus / Triton Bay Area

    Surrender to the rhythm of the ocean with dives focused on the 'Gate of Currents.' An exhilarating morning drift is followed by exploring the iconic 'Little Komodo' site, famous for its riot of color and life. The day concludes with a gentler, meditative final dive as the sun begins to set.

  4. Day 4: Whale Sharks of Teluk Bitsyari

    Teluk Bitsyari / Kaimana Area

    Experience a unique opportunity to encounter Triton Bay's 'gentle giants'. The morning is spent diving or snorkeling around traditional fishing platforms, known as 'bagans', where whale sharks are frequently attracted by the local fishermen's baitfish haul.

    Enjoy two final morning dives to soak in the beauty of Triton Bay's reefs one last time. Afterwards, the vessel begins its cruise back towards Kaimana, allowing for time to rinse gear and relax during the final afternoon at sea.

  13. Day 13: Disembarkation in Kaimana
