Dampier Strait, Central Raja Ampat
The first full day of diving is spent in the famous Dampier Strait, where powerful currents deliver nutrients that fuel incredible biodiversity. The day includes sites like Cape Kri, which holds a world record for the most fish species recorded on a single dive. Another highlight is Manta Sandy, a shallow manta ray cleaning station where divers can observe these graceful giants as they hover over coral bommies to be serviced by cleaner wrasse. The diving here is characterized by vibrant reefs and huge schools of fish.
