Guests board the vessel in Manado, Indonesia with check-in Check-in time will be provided upon booking. After a welcome briefing, cabin assignment and dive-equipment check, the crew prepares for departure. No diving is scheduled on the first day; the evening is spent settling in on board before the first dives the following morning.
Today marks the beginning of diving in the Sangihe region, known for its pristine underwater landscapes and diverse marine ecosystems. Divers can expect a variety of sites featuring vibrant coral reefs and opportunities for both day and night dives. The area often showcases rich biodiversity, making each descent a unique experience.
Continuing the exploration of Sangihe's subaquatic wonders, divers will encounter a range of sites, from vibrant coral gardens to potential encounters with schooling reef fish and pelagic species. The region is known for its clear waters and offers varied topography, including sloping reefs and wall dives. Opportunities for both day and night diving are available to maximise underwater time.
Another day dedicated to discovering the rich marine biodiversity of the Sangihe archipelago. Divers can anticipate encountering a mix of reef sharks, various ray species, and an abundance of macro creatures. The coral reefs here are typically healthy and support a thriving ecosystem, offering excellent photographic opportunities. Night dives may reveal different nocturnal species.
The final full day of diving in the Sangihe region focuses on its potential for pelagic encounters amidst crystal-clear waters. Divers may have opportunities to spot schooling fish and other larger pelagic species. The area's diverse topography includes walls and pinnacles that attract a wide array of marine life. This day aims to maximize underwater exploration before heading back towards Manado.
Today features 1 to 2 scheduled dives, marking the final underwater explorations of the trip. These dives provide a last chance to appreciate the vibrant marine life and coral formations near the Manado area. Emphasis will be on relaxing dives, allowing guests to enjoy the final moments of their underwater journey before preparing for disembarkation.
After enjoying breakfast onboard, guests will prepare for check-out and disembarkation. The Sea Safari crew will organize transfers to the airport, ensuring a smooth departure. This marks the end of the memorable diving adventure in the Manado and Sangihe regions.
