This celebrated week-long adventure navigates the central Maldivian atolls, featuring North Male, South Male, Felidhoo, and Ari. The trip prioritizes encounters with large pelagic animals, such as various sharks, eagle rays, and dolphins. A key aim is to find whale sharks and manta rays at their cleaning stations. In addition to approximately 18 dives, which include a wreck dive and two renowned night dives with mantas and nurse sharks, the itinerary offers surface activities like island visits, beach barbecues, kayaking, and paddleboarding. Day-by-day plan

  1. Day 1: Arrival to Male - Embark

    Male

    Upon arrival at Male airport, guests will be met by a staff member and transferred to the Maldives Blue Force 3 via the auxiliary Dhoni boat. After boarding, there will be a check-in process followed by comprehensive briefings on the liveaboard, diving procedures, and the planned route. The day concludes with dinner on board.

  2. Day 2: Central Atolls Classical Route

    North Male, South Male, Felidhoo, and Ari atolls

    The diving adventure begins, exploring the channels, submerged pinnacles (thilas), and cleaning stations of the central atolls. The daily schedule includes a program of day and night dives, with opportunities to snorkel and potentially dive with whale sharks. Non-divers can enjoy activities like snorkeling, kayaking, and stand-up paddleboarding. Weather permitting, guests may visit local islands or enjoy a barbecue on a deserted beach.

  3. Day 3: Central Atolls Classical Route

    The adventure continues with further diving expeditions through the diverse atolls of North Male, South Male, Felidhoo, and Ari. The vessel prioritizes channel drift dives and explorations of vibrant thilas, seeking encounters with pelagic life. A selection of activities remains accessible daily for all guests aboard, irrespective of diving participation. Depending on operational factors and weather, excursions to local fishing villages or uninhabited islands may be arranged.

  4. Day 4: Central Atolls Classical Route

    North Male, South Male, Felidhoo, and Ari atolls

    The journey proceeds through the central atolls, with a daily program of dives aimed at encountering grey sharks, white-tip sharks, and other large marine animals. The cruise also includes opportunities for relaxation on the sun deck or engaging in water sports. The crew may organize a visit to a local island to provide insight into the Maldivian way of life.

  5. Day 5: Central Atolls Classical Route

    Exploration of the central atolls' underwater world continues with a full day of diving. The trip includes two of the world's most spectacular night dives, one with feeding manta rays and another with numerous nurse sharks. Between dives, guests can take advantage of the available kayaks and paddleboards or simply relax on board.

  6. Day 6: Central Atolls Classical Route

    North Male, South Male, Felidhoo, and Ari atolls

    As the week of diving progresses, the vessel navigates through the rich waters of Ari, Felidhoo, and the Male atolls. The dive plan is structured to visit a variety of sites, including a wreck teeming with marine life. The search for the whale shark remains a key objective, with chances to snorkel or dive with the ocean's largest fish.

  7. Day 7: Central Atolls Classical Route

    Male

    Afternoon brings the vessel back to its mooring close to Male, signaling the end of diving operations. An optional guided exploration of the capital, Male, is offered, allowing guests to experience more of the nation before departure.

    Male

    Disembarkation takes place at Male Airport at approximately 7:00 AM. For guests with afternoon flights, there are options available such as using a day hotel near the airport or spending free time visiting Male before heading to the airport for their departure.
