Day-by-day plan

  1. Day 1: Embarkation

    Hurghada

Guests are transferred from the airport or local hotels to the marina for boarding. After settling in, there will be a welcome meeting, safety briefing, and introduction to the crew and vessel.

Good to know: The vessel will remain docked in Hurghada for the first night, with dinner served on board.

  2. Day 2: Check Dives & Northern Wrecks

    Northern Red Sea

The day starts with a mandatory check dive at a local site to test equipment and buoyancy. The vessel then sails north to the Abu Nuhas reef, an area known as the 'ship's graveyard', to begin exploring its famous wrecks.

Dive sites: Shaab el Erg, Giannis D

Good to know: Night dives may be offered, subject to weather conditions and the itinerary schedule.

  3. Day 3: SS Thistlegorm and Gubal Island

    Strait of Gubal

Dives are focused on the legendary SS Thistlegorm, a WWII British army freighter sunk in 1941. Divers can penetrate the cargo holds to see military equipment such as motorcycles, trucks, and ammunition, providing a unique historical dive experience.

    Dive sites: SS Thistlegorm

Good to know: Exploring the Thistlegorm often requires multiple dives to fully appreciate its scale and historical artifacts.

  4. Day 4: Ras Mohamed National Park

    Ras Mohamed

The journey continues to Ras Mohamed, a protected marine park at the southern tip of the Sinai Peninsula. Dives here feature dramatic drop-offs, abundant soft corals, and dense schools of fish, including the iconic Shark and Yolanda Reef.

Dive sites: Shark and Yolanda Reef, Anemone City

Good to know: This area is known for strong currents, which attract large pelagic species and create exciting drift dives.

  5. Day 5: Straits of Tiran

    Straits of Tiran

The boat heads to the Straits of Tiran, a narrow channel renowned for its four major reef systems. Divers will conduct drift dives along steep walls and plateaus, observing vibrant coral gardens and looking for sharks and other large marine life in the blue.

Dive sites: Jackson Reef, Thomas Reef, Gordon Reef

Good to know: The diving here is advanced, with deep walls and potentially challenging currents.

  6. Day 6: More Tiran & Return Journey

Straits of Tiran / Northern Red Sea

The morning offers a final opportunity to dive in the Straits of Tiran, possibly at Woodhouse Reef. Afterwards, the vessel begins its cruise back towards Hurghada, with an afternoon dive planned at a site along the way.

    Dive sites: Woodhouse Reef

  7. Day 7: Final Dives near Hurghada

    Hurghada

Two final dives are conducted in the morning at reefs closer to Hurghada. In the afternoon, the boat returns to the marina, providing time to rinse equipment and relax before a final dinner.

Good to know: Guests will spend the final night on the boat in the marina.
