Embark on an advanced diving adventure to the Red Sea's most legendary offshore marine parks: the Brothers Islands, Daedalus Reef, and Elphinstone. This one-way itinerary is tailored for experienced divers comfortable with deep walls and strong, unpredictable currents. The trip focuses on thrilling drift dives and pelagic encounters, offering chances to see various shark species, including oceanic whitetips, hammerheads, and threshers. The journey also includes exploring two iconic deep wrecks at the Brothers, all set against a backdrop of stunningly vibrant soft coral walls.
Arrive and board the vessel in Port Ghalib. After a welcome drink and checking into your cabin, the crew will provide a full boat and safety briefing. The evening is spent making final preparations as the boat gets ready for an early departure.
The day begins with one or two check dives at a sheltered site near the coast, such as Marsa Shouna or Abu Dabbab. This is the perfect opportunity to adjust your weighting and get comfortable with your gear. After the dives, the vessel begins the open-water crossing towards the southern marine parks. Commonly sighted here are green sea turtles, dugongs, and guitar sharks.

A full day is dedicated to diving at Daedalus, a remote offshore reef marked by its iconic lighthouse. The deep walls plummet into the blue, and strong currents attract schooling scalloped hammerheads, especially on the northern point during the summer months. The walls themselves are covered with pristine hard and soft corals, anemones, and abundant fish life. Tuna, giant trevally, and reef sharks are also common.

The journey continues north to the world-renowned Brothers Islands. The first stop is Little Brother, a conical underwater mountain renowned for its incredible density of marine life and pristine coral. Divers drift along walls completely covered in a vibrant forest of soft corals, while keeping an eye out in the blue for thresher sharks, grey reef sharks, and large Napoleon wrasse. Gorgonian sea fans are also abundant.
Dive sites: Little Brother
Attention turns to Big Brother, famous for its two spectacular deep wrecks. The Numidia cargo ship rests vertically against the reef from 12 to 80 meters, while the Aida supply ship sits slightly deeper. In between wreck dives, the walls offer superb opportunities to encounter oceanic whitetip and silky sharks that frequent the area. Barracuda and tuna are also often seen.

Today's dives are at the legendary Elphinstone Reef, a narrow, 400-meter-long reef with sheer walls and strong currents. This is a prime location for thrilling drift dives along its steep northern and southern plateaus, offering reliable encounters with oceanic whitetip sharks and occasionally hammerheads against a backdrop of vibrant purple and red soft corals. Reef sharks and barracuda are also commonly sighted.

The final day of diving typically includes two morning dives at a site closer to the mainland coast, such as the beautiful hard coral gardens of Gota Abu Ramada or the impressive walls of Panorama Reef near Safaga. After the dives, the boat starts its cruise north to Hurghada, docking in the marina in the late afternoon. Anthias, glassfish, moray eels, and Napoleon wrasse are often found here.

Enjoy a final breakfast on board with fellow guests and the crew. After settling any outstanding bills and exchanging goodbyes, you will disembark in Hurghada for your onward journey.
