Nabire
Guests are picked up at Nabire airport or their hotel and transferred to Calico Jack. After refreshments, a ship tour, and safety briefings, the boat departs. An afternoon check dive may be conducted in Kwatisore Bay depending on arrival times.
Kwatisore Bay
Spend the day diving and snorkeling with whale sharks at the Bagans, floating fishing platforms where local fishermen hand-feed the sharks. Explore nearby reefs with soft corals, schooling fish, and reef sharks.
Tanjung Mangguar
Dive among massive soft coral and sea whip colonies, attracting abundant fish life including barracudas and jacks. Possible sightings of manta and mobula rays. A night dive in the area is possible.
Sodompari Island & Wandammen Peninsula
Explore the reefs west of Pulau Sodompari with mini walls and good fish life when currents are running. Wandammen Peninsula offers pelagic and critter action with colorful sea fans and soft corals.
Wandammen Peninsula
The steep reefs of the Wandammen Peninsula offer a mix of macro life and open-water encounters. Expect schooling jacks and barracuda, nudibranchs, and frogfish.
Roon & Ribbon Islands
Dive among soft corals, sea fans, and sponges, with encounters of turtles, barracuda, and surgeonfish. Explore a WWII aircraft wreck near Pulau Rippon and a possible night dive.
Mioswar & Roon Islands
Dive sites with large rocks and boulders covered in corals and various fish species. Visit a local village in the afternoon and enjoy a night dive off the village.
