Day-by-day plan

  1. Day 1: Embarkation – Addu Atoll

    Guests will embark in Addu Atoll, a southern region of the Maldives. After settling into cabins and receiving a welcome briefing, the evening will be spent onboard, preparing for the diving adventure ahead. The journey through the southern hemisphere of the Maldives begins here.

  2. Day 2: Diving in Addu Atoll

    Today's dives focus on the diverse underwater landscapes of the Addu Atoll, known for its unique ecosystem in the southern Maldives. The area features a mix of channel dives and reef formations, with currents that can vary, creating opportunities for drift diving. Expect encounters with schooling fish and various shark species.

  3. Day 3: Transition to Foamulah

    The journey continues towards Foamulah, offering a change of scenery and new dive experiences. This area is renowned for its pelagic encounters, with specific sites known to attract larger marine species. Divers can anticipate dynamic conditions, including potential currents, which often bring in abundant life.

  4. Day 4: Diving in Foamulah

    Foamulah provides another day of exceptional diving, characterized by its unique underwater topography and rich marine biodiversity. The sites here are often exposed to ocean currents, making them magnets for schooling fish and various shark species. Night dives or snorkeling may offer opportunities for whale shark sightings.

  5. Day 5: Exploring Gaaf Alif Atoll

The area is known for its exhilarating channel dives, which often bring strong currents and a high density of pelagic life. Expect to encounter schools of jacks and a variety of shark species patrolling these channels.

  6. Day 6: Diving in Gaaf Alif Atoll

    Continuing the exploration of Gaaf Alif Atoll, divers will experience more of its untouched reefs and vibrant marine ecosystems. The dive sites typically feature spectacular coral formations and a lively array of reef fish. Currents can be a factor, providing thrilling drift dive opportunities and attracting larger predatory fish.

  7. Day 7: Return to Foamulah / Gaaf Alif Atoll

    On the penultimate day, the route may revisit key dive sites in Foamulah or Gaaf Alif Atoll, allowing for further exploration or a second chance at specific marine life encounters. Conditions will dictate the best diving opportunities, focusing on sites known for their rich biodiversity or dramatic underwater topography. The last dive of the trip will be conducted today, with a mandatory 24-hour no-fly period before departure.

  8. Day 8: Disembarkation – Koodoo, Maldives

    Guests will disembark from the vessel in Koodoo, Maldives, concluding the Southern Hemisphere diving cruise. Transfers will be arranged according to individual travel plans, marking the end of an unforgettable journey through the remote and extraordinary atolls of the Maldives.
