Extended New Year's edition of the operator's classic Central Atolls route, running 9 nights over the holiday season instead of the usual 7. Round-trip from Malé through North Malé, South Malé, Vaavu (Felidhoo) and Ari Atolls, with two additional dive days to reach further sites and to celebrate New Year's Eve on board. Same target species as the weekly Central Atolls itinerary (grey, white-tip and black-tip reef sharks, mantas, whale sharks in Ari, eagle rays, schooling pelagics) plus festive on-board programme. Day-by-day site choice is decided each morning by the cruise director based on currents, weather and marine-life activity; no fixed schedule is published by the operator for this special departure.
Malé, North Malé Atoll
Board the vessel in Malé and settle into your cabin. After a comprehensive boat briefing and equipment setup, a check dive will be conducted at a nearby site to ensure everyone is comfortable in the water and properly weighted. The boat will anchor for the night.

North Malé & Rasdhoo Atolls
The day begins with a dive at a manta cleaning station in North Malé Atoll before crossing to Rasdhoo Atoll. This small atoll is known for its dramatic topography and pelagic encounters. An early morning dive is often planned here to search for schools of scalloped hammerhead sharks in the deep blue.

North Ari Atoll
Welcome to North Ari Atoll, a region packed with iconic dive sites. Today focuses on the famous 'thilas'—submerged pinnacles that act as magnets for marine predators. Sites like Fish Head are protected marine areas known for their resident schools of grey reef sharks, while Maaya Thila offers an incredible concentration of fish life.

North Ari Atoll
The vessel continues exploring the rich pinnacles of North Ari, encountering dense schools of fish and cruising predators. The day culminates in one of the Maldives' most famous dives: a night dive at Maaya Thila. After dark, the reef comes alive with white-tip reef sharks, marbled rays, and giant trevally actively hunting under the divers' torchlight.

Central Ari Atoll
The boat moves to the central part of Ari Atoll where the focus is on finding more manta rays at well-known cleaning stations like Rangali Madivaru. Divers also explore the surrounding kandus (channels) and thilas, known for their rich coral growth and abundant reef fish populations.

South Ari Atoll
This day is dedicated to the Maamigili Marine Protected Area, the most famous location in the Maldives for year-round whale shark sightings. The vessel cruises the outer reef, ready for guests to snorkel or dive with these gentle giants. The day may also include a dive on a nearby thila or a unique archway formation.

South Ari & Vaavu Atolls
The day starts with a thrilling dive at Kudarah Thila, a protected pinnacle famous for its beautiful soft corals and diverse fish life. Afterward, the boat begins the crossing towards Vaavu Atoll, arriving in time for a late afternoon dive in one of its renowned, action-packed channels.

Vaavu Atoll
This day focuses on sharks in Vaavu Atoll. It starts with a high-energy drift dive at Miyaru Kandu, which translates to 'Shark Channel', where grey reef sharks and eagle rays patrol the channel entrance. The day ends with the world-famous night dive at Alimatha Jetty, where dozens of nurse sharks, stingrays, and jacks swarm in the shallows.

South Malé Atoll
The boat heads back north, stopping in South Malé Atoll for the final two dives of the trip. Divers explore a famous channel like Guraidhoo Corner, hoping for a last encounter with sharks and eagle rays. In the afternoon, the vessel cruises back towards the Hulhumalé lagoon. Guests wash their gear and enjoy a farewell dinner.

Malé, North Malé Atoll
After a final breakfast on board, it's time to say goodbye to the crew and fellow divers. Guests will be transferred to Velana International Airport for their onward journey.
