Day-by-day plan

  1. Day 1: Embarkation Sorong

    Today focused on practicalities: boarding the Samambaia, a comprehensive briefing, and an introductory check dive to begin the trip.

  2. Day 2: Dampier Strait

    This day is dedicated to diving the Dampier Strait. Divers explore thrilling spots like Cape Kri, Mioskon, and Sardine Reef.

  3. Day 3: Crossing south

    Day three involved two pinnacle dives as Samambaia crossed south towards Misool.

  4. Day 4: Misool — Boo & Whale Rock

    Day 4 brings divers to Misool for incredible diving. Divers explore Boo Windows, Whale Rock, and Tank Rock.

  5. Day 5: Misool — Magic Mountain

    Day 5 in Misool brings divers to Shadow Reef for potential oceanic manta encounters, followed by Nudi Rock.

  6. Day 6: Misool — Wayilbatan / Daram

    Day 6 brings divers to Misool for dives at Wedding Cake and Andiamo, followed by a unique walking-shark night dive.

  7. Day 7: Northbound crossing

    On this day, divers enjoy two dives as the vessel begins its northbound crossing toward Dampier.

  8. Day 8: Dampier — Manta Sandy & Blue Magic

    On this day, divers explore Manta Sandy, a vibrant cleaning station, and dive the thrilling pelagic seamount, Blue Magic. It is an exciting day of diving in Dampier.

  9. Day 9: Final dives

    This day marks the final dives at Cape Kri and Mioskon. Afterwards, the vessel begins its journey back to Sorong.

  10. Day 10: Disembarkation

    This final day of the trip brings disembarkation. Guests transfer to Sorong airport for their onward journeys.
