This challenging one-way itinerary explores the legendary offshore pinnacles of the Egyptian Red Sea, journeying from Marsa Alam north to Hurghada. The trip focuses on the 'big three': the Brothers Islands, Daedalus Reef, and Elphinstone Reef, all world-renowned for their thrilling drift dives, deep walls, and incredible pelagic encounters. Expect strong currents and open-ocean conditions, which attract schooling hammerheads, oceanic whitetips, threshers, and other shark species. Port Ghalib, Marsa Alam
Guests board the vessel in the afternoon at Port Ghalib. After settling into the cabins, there will be a welcome briefing, safety orientation, and crew introductions. Dinner is served in the evening as the vessel prepares for its overnight departure.

Marsa Alam Coastal Reefs, Red Sea
The day begins with one or two check dives at a coastal reef near Marsa Alam. These initial dives allow everyone to adjust their weighting for the Red Sea's high salinity and ensure all equipment is in working order. After the dives, the yacht begins the long overnight crossing to the remote Daedalus Reef.

Daedalus Reef, Southern Red Sea
The first full day is spent at Daedalus Reef, a massive, isolated reef rising from the abyss, marked only by a lighthouse. The site is famous for its healthy coral gardens and sheer walls. It's a prime location for encountering schooling scalloped hammerheads out in the blue, especially off the northern point, as well as curious oceanic whitetip sharks.

Brothers Islands, Southern Red Sea
Diving focuses on Big Brother, the larger of the two islands, topped by a Victorian-era stone lighthouse. The main attractions are two spectacular wrecks: the Numidia and the Aida II. Both are covered in a dense carpet of vibrant soft corals and frequently patrolled by grey reef sharks and other large pelagics.

Brothers Islands, Southern Red Sea
Attention shifts to Little Brother, a conical mount renowned for its staggering biodiversity and pristine condition. The currents attract schools of fish and a variety of sharks, with regular sightings of thresher, grey reef, and silky sharks.

Elphinstone Reef, Southern Red Sea
The journey continues to Elphinstone Reef, a legendary, slender reef just a few miles off the coast. This site is famous for exhilarating drift dives along its steep, coral-encrusted walls. The north and south plateaus are cleaning stations and hunting grounds for oceanic whitetip sharks, and occasionally hammerheads pass by in the deep.

Elphinstone Reef, Southern Red Sea
A final opportunity to dive the magnificent Elphinstone Reef. Divers can revisit a favorite section or explore a new profile, hoping for more encounters with the resident pelagics. Following the dives, the boat begins the main portion of its cruise north towards the final port of Hurghada.

Safaga, Red Sea
The last two dives of the trip take place around the Safaga area, breaking up the journey to Hurghada. A site like Panorama Reef, with its dramatic walls and plateaus covered in anemones, provides a beautiful finale. Afterward, the boat cruises the final leg to Hurghada, where it will dock for the night.
