Day-by-day plan

  1. Day 1: Embarkation – Manokwari

    Guests are picked up from Manokwari Airport and transferred to the liveaboard. After settling into cabins and receiving a welcome briefing, an afternoon check dive is planned on one of the Japanese WWII wrecks in Manokwari Bay. The vessel will then embark on an overnight cruise to Pulau Roon.

  2. Day 2: Pulau Roon – Diving and Exploration

    Today focuses on diving around Roon Island, with sites such as Pulau Auri and Pulau Sodomompari. Divers can explore the wreck of a Japanese Zero plane south of Pulau Roon, offering a unique historical underwater experience. An overnight cruise will take the group to Kwatisore.

  3. Day 3: Kwatisore – Whale Shark Encounters

    The day is dedicated to diving around the bagans or fishing boats in Kwatisore, where whale sharks commonly gather to feed on the remaining catch. This location is famous for offering consistent close encounters with these magnificent creatures, often in shallow waters. An overnight cruise continues to Pulau Rouw.

  4. Day 4: Pulau Rouw – Atolls and P-38 Wrecks

    Diving today occurs on the atolls at Spag Point and Wild Fish Ridge around Pulau Rouw. In the afternoon, guests can enjoy a beach stroll and snorkel around three WWII P-38 planes resting in just one meter of water. The vessel will cruise overnight to Sewandeh.

  5. Day 5: Sewandeh – Reef Fish and Corals

    A full day of diving is planned around the islands of Sewandeh, an area abundant with vibrant reef fish and various shark species. Slampipien is known for its impressive garden of hard corals in shallow waters. An overnight sailing will take the group towards Numfor.

  6. Day 6: Numfor & Manim Island – WWII Landing Craft Wrecks

    The morning begins with diving off the southeast coast of Numfor before moving to Pulau Manim. The rest of the day is spent diving the wrecks of 8 World War II landing craft around Pulau Manim. Guests can also enjoy a stroll along the white sandy beach. An overnight cruise returns to Manokwari.

    Today features two morning dives on two of the Japanese WWII wrecks located in Manokwari Bay. These sites offer a glimpse into history with diverse marine life inhabiting the submerged structures. Preparations for departure will begin later in the day.
