This voyage explores the central and northern areas of Raja Ampat, a region renowned for its stunning limestone island scenery and vibrant underwater ecosystems. Divers will experience a diverse topography of caves, canyons, and swim-throughs, all teeming with life sustained by nutrient-rich currents. The area boasts an incredible variety of coral and over 1,400 fish species. The itinerary combines exceptional diving with topside excursions to viewpoints and local villages, offering a comprehensive experience of the 'Four Kings'. Max guests on this trip: 16.

Day-by-day plan

  1. Day 1: Embarkation

    Sorong

    Upon arrival at Sorong airport, guests are transferred to the vessel for check-in. After a welcome briefing and settling into the cabins, a check dive is conducted in the afternoon at Pulau Saonek. The boat will anchor overnight in a nearby location.

  2. Day 2: Dampier Strait

    Dampier Strait

    The day is dedicated to exploring the magnificent reefs within the Dampier Strait. Dives are planned at several famous sites, including Mioskon, Cape Kri, and Sawandarek, known for their incredible biodiversity. The ship will navigate overnight towards Aljuy Bay.

  3. Day 3: Aljuy Bay

    Aljuy Bay

    In Aljuy Bay, the day begins with two dives at the Waterlogged site. A guided tour of a local pearl farm offers a fascinating look into this unique industry. The day's diving concludes with an afternoon and a night dive near the company's private docks.

  4. Day 4: Kawe

    Kawe

    After crossing the Equator, the boat arrives at Kawe for a full day of diving. The schedule includes two dives at Eagle Rock and an afternoon dive at Black Rock. A night dive is planned in the vicinity of Wayag.

  5. Day 5: Wayag

    Wayag

    This day is spent exploring the iconic Wayag region, with dives at sites like Pelagic Rock, Figure Eight Island, and The Cathedral. A highlight is the afternoon trek up to the famous Wayag viewpoint for breathtaking panoramic photos. A night dive in the lagoon is also scheduled.

  6. Day 6: Fam

    Fam

    Diving continues around the Fam island group, featuring celebrated sites such as Galaxy, Keruo Reef, and the stunning Melissa's Garden. Between dives, guests have the chance to climb to the Fam viewpoint for another spectacular vista. The day ends with a night dive near the anchorage.

  7. Day 7: Yengefo

    Yengefo

    A full day of diving is planned in the Yengefo area, located west of Gam. Dives are scheduled at Mayhem, Citrus Ridge, and Karang Lalosi. In the afternoon, there is a visit to the village of Airborek, followed by a night dive at its jetty.

  8. Day 8: Birds of Paradise

    Yenbeser

    The day begins with an early morning land excursion to witness the courtship dance of the Birds of Paradise at sunrise. Afterward, diving resumes with a visit to Mike's Point, followed by an afternoon dive at Chicken Reef. The boat anchors for the night off the village of Yenbeser.

  9. Day 9: Sardine Reef

    Dampier Strait

    The final day of diving includes two dives at the world-famous sites of Sardine Reef and Blue Magic, known for their schooling fish and pelagic action. In the afternoon, the vessel starts its journey back to Sorong, allowing time for gear rinsing and packing.

  10. Day 10: Disembarkation

    Sorong

    After a final breakfast on board, guests will disembark the vessel. A transfer to Sorong airport is provided for onward flights.
