Today marks the start of your Red Sea adventure. Guests will embark the Odyssey in Port Ghalib from 5:00 pm, settle into their cabins, and prepare for the exciting journey ahead. A comprehensive safety briefing and introductions will be held before the vessel departs for its first destination.
The journey begins with dives in the Northern Red Sea, an area renowned for its vibrant coral reefs and diverse marine life. Expect to explore shallow reefs teeming with hard and soft corals, providing excellent visibility and photographic opportunities. Common sightings include schooling reef fish and various invertebrates.
Today's dives focus on Jackson Reef, a vibrant site known for its impressive schools of jackfish. Divers can expect to encounter strong currents over a plateau at 20 meters, making for exhilarating drift dives. The area is frequented by large schools of barracuda, snapper, and often features grey reef sharks and blue triggerfish.

Dive into Sha'ab Ali Erg, a beautiful horseshoe-shaped reef celebrated for marine life diversity. This site offers opportunities to spot dolphins playing near the outer reef or in the lagoon. Today's exploration centres on the Dunraven Wreck, an 80-meter British ship that sank in 1876. Dive into The Canyon, a spectacular geological formation featuring deep underwater passages and rich marine biodiversity. Today's highlight is the famous Thistlegorm, a British WWII cargo ship sunk in 1941. This incredible wreck is recognized as one of the best in the world for its well-preserved cargo, which includes trucks, jeeps, motorcycles, and military equipment. Resting at a depth of 30 meters, it provides an exceptional dive experience for exploring history and marine life that now inhabits the site.
