Embark on an unforgettable diving adventure through some of Egypt's most renowned marine parks. This route explores the legendary Brothers Islands, the remote Daedalus Reef, and the renowned Elphinstone, offering chances to encounter pelagic giants like oceanic whitetip sharks and schooling hammerheads amidst vibrant coral walls and drop-offs. Prepare for breathtaking underwater landscapes teeming with diverse reef fish, moray eels, and the occasional manta ray or dolphin.

Day-by-day plan

  1. Day 1: Arrival and Embarkation in Port Ghalib

    Upon arrival in Port Ghalib, guests will check in from 4:00 PM. After settling into your cabin, a welcome briefing and important safety information will be provided. The evening concludes with dinner onboard.

  2. Day 2: Diving the Local Reefs

    Today's dives explore the vibrant local reefs, offering a chance to acclimate to the Red Sea's underwater environment. Expect diverse marine life and colorful coral formations. The Salem Express wreck provides a historical diving experience.

    Dive sites: Ras Disha, Salem Express wreck, Middle Reef

  3. Day 3: Diving The Brothers Islands

    Explore the iconic Brothers Islands, a renowned marine park. Big Brother is a 400-meter-long island featuring spectacular walls and the Aida and Numidia shipwrecks. The Numidia wreck lies at depths of 10 to 80 meters on the northern tip, while the Aida wreck is situated on the island's northwestern edge. Little Brother boasts an exceptionally high quantity of marine life in a relatively small area, with fan corals, overhangs, and hard and soft corals in abundance. At the right time of year, frequent sightings of hammerhead, thresher, grey, white-tip reef, and oceanic white-tip sharks are possible.

    Dive sites: Big Brother South, Big Brother (Numidia wreck), Little Brother

  4. Day 4: Diving Daedalus Reef

    Today is dedicated to exploring Daedalus Reef, an enormous reef about 180 miles south of the Brothers Islands. It is surrounded by a vertical wall and strong currents, making it ideal for drift diving. The hard corals here can reach immense sizes. Keep an eye out for schooling hammerhead sharks, manta rays, schools of barracudas, and other pelagic fish, which are regular visitors.

    Dive sites: Daedalus North, Daedalus East, Daedalus South

  5. Day 5: Further Exploration of Daedalus Reef

    Continue diving at the remote Daedalus Reef, known for its impressive vertical walls and strong currents that attract large pelagic species. The hard coral formations are extensive, and divers often encounter schooling hammerhead sharks, manta rays, and various other pelagic fish.

    Dive sites: Daedalus, Daedalus West

  6. Day 6: Diving Elphinstone Reef and Marsa Alam Area

    Today's dives include the legendary Elphinstone Reef, a Red Sea icon. Its north and south plateaus are covered with hard and soft corals, attracting passing pelagics, making it one of the most spectacular reefs in the Red Sea. The day may also include a night dive in the Marsa Alam area.

    Dive sites: Elphinstone North, Elphinstone South, Marsa Alam Area

  7. Day 7: Final Dives and Relaxation

    Enjoy the last dives of the trip at Panorama Reef and the El Mina wreck. These sites offer a final opportunity to experience the Red Sea's rich marine biodiversity and vibrant coral ecosystems. Remember that the last dive is on the penultimate day of the trip.

  8. Day 8: Disembarkation in Port Ghalib

    Enjoy breakfast onboard before checking out by 10:00 AM. Guests will disembark in Port Ghalib, concluding the liveaboard adventure.
