Day-by-day plan

  1. Day 1: Labuan Bajo

    Labuan Bajo

    Guests arrive and check in to the liveaboard in Labuan Bajo. An afternoon check dive is conducted to allow everyone to get comfortable in the water and with their gear before the main expedition begins.

  2. Day 2: Central Komodo

    Central Komodo

    The day is spent diving in Central Komodo, where guests will drift along vibrant coral gardens. This area provides opportunities to see reef mantas, sea turtles, and large aggregations of reef fish.

  3. Day 3: North Komodo

    North Komodo

    Diving moves to North Komodo, an area known for its exhilarating current-swept dives. These conditions attract big marine life, offering potential sightings of reef sharks, trevallies, and swirling schools of barracuda.

  4. Day 4: Rlung Region

    Rlung Region

    The itinerary continues to the Rlung Region, which is notable for its excellent biodiversity. The reefs here are covered in pristine soft corals and are bustling with anthias, nudibranchs, and well-camouflaged scorpionfish.

  5. Day 5: Maumere Area

    Maumere Area

    In the Maumere area, the focus shifts to macro-rich sites and colorful reefs. Divers should keep a lookout for unusual creatures like frogfish, ornate ghost pipefish, and vibrant ribbon eels.

  6. Day 6: Serbete Area

    Serbete Area

    Dives in the Serbete area feature healthy reefs that support schools of fish, moray eels, and reef sharks. The underwater landscape is also decorated with a variety of colorful sponges.

  7. Day 7: Alor Region

    Alor Region

    The vessel arrives in the Alor region, where cold water upwellings can attract mola mola. The topography includes dramatic walls where sea snakes, shrimp, and large groupers are often found.

  8. Day 8: Alor Region

    Alor Region

    A second day in Alor presents more dives in strong currents over beautiful coral plateaus. This area is also a hotspot for rare critters, with chances to spot rhinopias, pygmy seahorses, and different types of pipefish.

  9. Day 9: Alor Region

    Alor Region

    The final day of diving features more relaxed dives in the Alor region. It's a last chance to enjoy the local muck diving sites, soft coral gardens, and possibly encounter another sea turtle.

  10. Day 10: Alor

    Alor

    Following an early breakfast, guests will check out and be transferred to Mali Airport (ARD) or a local hotel. No diving is scheduled on this day to ensure a safe interval before flying.
