Nai'a · Fiji · 8 Days / 7 Nights
This voyage begins in Lautoka, exploring Fiji's premier dive locations by heading into Bligh Water before continuing to Namena, Wakaya, and Gau within the Koro Sea. The trip offers a flexible schedule to adapt to weather conditions, ensuring the best possible diving experiences. Guests can expect to encounter stunning underwater landscapes, including vibrant coral gardens and swim-throughs. The diverse marine ecosystem is home to reef sharks, manta rays, turtles, and Napoleon wrasse.
Lautoka, Viti Levu
Guests are transferred to the vessel in Lautoka for afternoon boarding. After a welcome briefing and setting up equipment, the boat will depart for the central islands overnight.
Bligh Water
The first day of diving begins in the famous Vatu-I-Ra Passage. The dives focus on current-swept seamounts and pinnacles that are covered in a profusion of colorful soft corals and bustling with reef fish.
Good to know: Up to four dives are planned for the day, including a potential night dive.
Lomaiviti Islands
The journey continues into the Lomaiviti island group to explore more of its renowned reef systems. Dives feature a mix of walls, bommies, and channels that attract a wide variety of marine species.
Good to know: A night dive may be offered, bringing the total number of dives to four or five.
Namena Marine Reserve
Diving takes place within the protected Namena Marine Reserve, a sanctuary known for its healthy shark populations and large schools of fish. The topography includes deep walls and impressive pinnacles.
Good to know: This area is known for its biodiversity and offers exciting opportunities for pelagic sightings.
Gau / Wakaya Islands
The focus shifts to the southern areas of the Lomaiviti group, around islands like Gau or Wakaya. Dives are planned at sites known for manta ray cleaning stations and potential sightings of hammerhead sharks.
Good to know: One afternoon is often reserved for a visit to a traditional Fijian village.
Bligh Water / Lomaiviti Islands
The vessel begins its journey back towards Viti Levu, allowing for more dives in the Lomaiviti or Bligh Water area. This provides a chance to revisit a favorite site or explore a new one.
Viti Levu Coast
The last two dives of the trip take place near the main island's northern coast. Afterwards, guests can rinse their gear and relax during the final evening as the boat cruises back to the port.
Good to know: No night dive is scheduled to allow for off-gassing before flying.
Lautoka, Viti Levu
After a final breakfast on board, guests disembark in Lautoka. Crew will assist with luggage and arranging onward transfers to the airport or local hotels.
