Day-by-day plan

  1. Day 1: Embarkation in Lautoka

    Lautoka, Viti Levu

Guests will be transferred from Nadi or Lautoka to the vessel. After boarding in the afternoon, there will be a welcome briefing and safety orientation before setting sail for the central islands.

Good to know: Departure is scheduled for approximately 1:00 PM.

  2. Day 2: Diving in Bligh Water

    Bligh Water

The first full day of diving begins at the sea mounts and pinnacles of Bligh Water. These sites are famous for their spectacular soft coral displays and abundant clouds of anthias and other reef fish.

Good to know: The day typically includes a check-out dive to ensure all equipment is functioning correctly.

  3. Day 3: Exploring Bligh Water's Pinnacles

    Bligh Water

A second day is dedicated to uncovering more of Bligh Water's top sites. Dives are conducted on submerged reefs that rise from the depths, attracting schooling fish like fusiliers and jacks, as well as resident reef sharks.

  4. Day 4: Namena Marine Reserve

    Namena Marine Reserve

The journey continues to the protected Namena Marine Reserve, a barrier reef system. Dive sites here include dramatic walls and channels where divers can look for pelagic species passing through.

Good to know: This protected area is known for its healthy hard coral gardens and high biodiversity.

  5. Day 5: Diving the Channels of Namena

    Namena Marine Reserve

Spend the day exploring the diverse sites within the Namena Reserve. Stronger currents in the channels concentrate nutrients and bring in larger marine life, while sheltered reefs offer excellent opportunities for macro photography.

  6. Day 6: Journey to the Lomaiviti Islands

    Lomaiviti Islands

The vessel travels south to the Lomaiviti island group, which includes islands like Gau and Wakaya. The diving here is varied, featuring walls, bommies, and reef flats, with frequent shark sightings.

Good to know: Manta ray encounters are possible at cleaning stations in this region, depending on the season.

  7. Day 7: Exploring Lomaiviti's Reefs

    Lomaiviti Islands

Another day is spent exploring the dive sites around the Lomaiviti Islands. The crew selects the best sites based on current conditions, aiming for encounters with scalloped hammerheads, grey reef sharks, and vibrant fish communities.

  8. Day 8: Central Fiji Exploration

    Central Fiji

The itinerary often includes exploratory dives at lesser-known or uncharted sites within Fiji's central cruising area. This provides a chance to dive pristine reefs that see very few other visitors, offering a unique sense of discovery.

  9. Day 9: Return Journey Diving

    Viti Levu Barrier Reef

The boat begins its journey back towards the main island of Viti Levu. Dives are planned at select sites along the way, offering a final chance to appreciate the area's rich coral gardens and marine life.

  10. Day 10: Final Dives and Cruise to Port

    Waters near Lautoka

Two final morning dives are offered before the vessel begins the final cruise back to port. The afternoon is free for guests to wash and dry their equipment, relax, and enjoy a final evening on board.
