PLEASE NOTE: Pick-up and transfer for embarkation is from Male Airport at 12:30 only. Crew meets guests at the airport for transfer to Maldives Master on the dhoni. Embarkation is followed by introductions, boat and safety briefings, and dinner. Based on all guests embarking at the designated time, an early afternoon check dive usually occurs close to Hulhumale. Maldives Master usually departs from the harbor in the evening and cruises north in preparation for the following day's first dive.
Malé
Guests are met upon arrival at Malé International Airport and transferred to the awaiting liveaboard. After settling in, a comprehensive boat and safety briefing will be held, followed by equipment assembly.
North Malé & Ari Atolls
The first day of diving begins by heading to some of the classic reefs in the Central Atolls. The dive sites are selected to re-familiarize divers with the Maldivian underwater environment.
Dive sites: Banana Reef, HP Reef
Ari Atoll
Diving continues in Ari Atoll, home to some of the most famous thilas or submerged pinnacles in the Maldives. A night dive is often planned here to witness the reef's nocturnal inhabitants.
Dive sites: Maaya Thila, Fish Head
Good to know: Includes one night dive.
South Ari Atoll
The itinerary focuses on sites known for pelagic encounters. Divers will visit a manta ray cleaning station and explore a small, coral-encrusted wreck.
Dive sites: Manta Point Ari, Kuda Giri Wreck
Passage to Baa Atoll
The vessel begins its journey northwards towards Baa Atoll. The day will include three dives on sites located along the transitional route between the central and northern atolls.
Baa Atoll
The main event in Baa Atoll is a visit to Hanifaru Bay, a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. Guests will have the opportunity to snorkel with congregations of manta rays and potentially whale sharks.
Dive sites: Hanifaru Bay, Nelivaru Thila
Good to know: Snorkeling only in Hanifaru Bay. Manta and whale shark sightings are seasonal (May-Nov).
Baa Atoll
Exploration of Baa Atoll continues, with dives on some of the area's most beautiful pinnacles. These sites are characterized by healthy coral growth and an abundance of reef fish.
Dive sites: Dhigali Haa, Dhonfanu Thila
Baa Atoll
The day is dedicated to discovering more of what Baa Atoll has to offer. The Cruise Director will select the best sites based on prevailing weather and sea conditions.
Good to know: Dive sites are chosen by the crew based on conditions.
Passage to Central Atolls
The liveaboard starts its return journey towards the central region. Three dives are planned at sites selected along the way, offering a diverse range of underwater experiences.
Near Malé
The final day of diving consists of two morning dives at a site close to the return port. In the afternoon, the vessel will cruise back to Malé, allowing time for equipment rinsing and packing.
Malé
Following breakfast, guests will disembark the vessel. Transfers will be provided to Malé International Airport for onward travel.
