PLEASE NOTE: Pick-up and transfer for embarkation is from Male Airport at 12:30 only. Crew meets guests at the airport for transfer to Maldives Master on the dhoni. Embarkation is followed by introductions, boat and safety briefings, and dinner. Based on all guests embarking at the designated time, an early afternoon check dive usually occurs close to Hulhumale. Maldives Master usually departs from the harbor in the evening and cruises north in preparation for the following day's first dive.
Arrival at Malé airport and transfer to the liveaboard. After the welcome briefing and equipment setup, a check dive is typically conducted in the North Malé Atoll area.
Diving in the channels and reefs of South Malé Atoll, known for its vibrant marine life and drift dives. The vessel then typically begins its crossing towards the western atolls.
Dives are focused around Rasdhoo Atoll, famous for its pelagic species. Dives here offer opportunities to see reef sharks, eagle rays, and other big fish in the blue.
The journey continues to North Ari Atoll, a highlight of the trip. Dives may include famous sites like Maaya Thila, known for its incredible density of marine life both day and night.
Explore South Ari Atoll, searching for manta rays at renowned cleaning stations. This area is also a prime location for potential encounters with whale sharks.
A full day is spent exploring more of Ari Atoll's diverse pinnacles (thilas) and channels. Expect stunning topography and an abundance of colourful reef fish and corals.
The vessel begins its cruise back towards the departure point. The final one or two dives of the trip take place in the waters of North or South Malé Atoll.
After a final breakfast on board, guests disembark and are transferred to the local airport for their onward journey.
