Day-by-day plan

  1. Day 1: Sebayur Kecil and Sebayur Besar

    Sebayur Kecil and Sebayur Besar

    Guests are collected from their hotel or the airport in Labuan Bajo and welcomed aboard the La Galigo. Following a welcome drink and safety briefing, the vessel departs for the islands of Sebayur Kecil and Sebayur Besar. Two dives are conducted in this calm, sheltered area, serving as a gentle introduction to the park and allowing divers to acclimate and check their gear.

  2. Day 2: West Komodo

    West Komodo

    The day begins with a dive at Tatawa Besar, followed by a search for manta rays at the renowned Manta Point. In the afternoon, divers experience a drift dive through Golden Passage, known for its excellent coral formations and schools of fish. The day's activities conclude with a sunset trek on Gili Lawa Darat and a night dive at Stranger Things to discover the park's macro life.

  3. Day 3: Northwest Komodo

    Northwest Komodo

    This day is dedicated to some of Komodo's most memorable dive sites. The morning is spent at Crystal Rock and Castle Rock, two submerged pinnacles where hunting trevallies and reef sharks are often seen. The afternoon features an exhilarating drift dive at The Cauldron, also known as The Shotgun. A night dive is planned in Komodo Bay, subject to conditions.

  4. Day 4: Southwest Komodo

    Southwest Komodo

    An early morning dive at Batu Bolong offers chances to see large pelagics like Giant Trevally and Napoleon Wrasse. The boat then heads south to Tatawa Kecil, a site with strong currents and unique rock formations. The day concludes with a night dive at Siaba Besar, a haven for macro photographers with potential sightings of Ghost Pipefish, Flamboyant Cuttlefish, and Blue-Ringed Octopus.

  5. Day 5: Southwest Komodo

    Southwest Komodo

    The exploration of Southwest Komodo continues with a dive at Police Corner, a fantastic but less-frequented site. A visit to Mauan island provides an opportunity to see mantas at a cleaning station. The afternoon is spent at the iconic Pink Beach, a shallow coral garden, before moving to Soro Lia Bay for the night dive.

  6. Day 6: South Komodo and Padar

    South Komodo and Padar Island

    Diving in South Komodo begins at Manta Alley, a top attraction where large groups of manta rays congregate. The journey continues to Padar Island, which offers not only stunning views but also great dive sites like the wall at Pillarsteen. An afternoon trek up Padar provides breathtaking panoramas, followed by a night dive at Padar Wreck, a known habitat for frogfish.

  7. Day 7: Komodo on Foot

    Wainilu, Rinca Island, Pulau Kalong

    The final dive of the trip is at Wainilu, a shallow sandy slope perfect for spotting macro critters. After the dive, guests venture ashore on Rinca Island for a guided walk to see the legendary Komodo Dragons. At sunset, the boat anchors near Pulau Kalong to watch thousands of fruit bats emerge. The evening is celebrated with a special BBQ banquet on the top deck.

  8. Day 8: Disembark in Labuan Bajo

    Labuan Bajo

    The boat anchors in Labuan Bajo during the early morning hours. Guests can enjoy breakfast and have time to exchange photos and contacts. Disembarkation is flexible until 11:00 AM, with transfers provided to the airport or local hotels for onward travel.
