Day-by-day plan

  1. Day 1: Sorong to Waisai — Check-Dive

    Sorong → Waisai

Harbour transfer between 07:30 and 08:00, welcome briefing and lunch as La Galigo sails to Waisai for clearance. Afternoon check-dive on the calm reef of Saonek Kecil.

    Dive sites: Saonek Kecil

  2. Day 2: Gam

    Gam

Day on Gam Island starting at Mangrove Ridge — dive in and out among the saltwater mangrove roots looking for black corals, turtles and jacks. Continuing at Citrus Ridge's orange and yellow soft corals and the pelagic action of Mayhem.

Dive sites: Mangrove Ridge, Citrus Ridge, Mayhem

  3. Day 3: Piaynemo (Penemu)

    Piaynemo

Melissa's Garden — the dense hard-coral garden between three islets — anchors the day, with a gentle drift through Keruo Channel and the dramatic 40 m wall of Batu Rufus. Late-afternoon hike to the Piaynemo viewpoint.

Dive sites: Melissa's Garden, Keruo Channel, Batu Rufus

  4. Day 4: Piaynemo to Misool Crossing

    Piaynemo → Misool

Two final dives around Piaynemo — soft and black coral at Galaxy, barracuda, wobbegongs and blacktip reef sharks at My Reef — before the long afternoon and overnight crossing south to Misool.

    Dive sites: Galaxy, My Reef

  5. Day 5: Wayil — Misool

    Wayil, Misool

First Misool day around the satellite islands of Wayil. Four Kings is a cluster of towering pinnacles drawing giant trevally, Napoleon wrasse and reef mantas; Barracuda Rock has a swim-through cavern and its namesake school; Neptune's Sea Fan is named for its giant gorgonians.

Dive sites: Four Kings, Barracuda Rock, Neptune's Sea Fan

  6. Day 6: Fiabacet / Boo — Misool

    Fiabacet / Boo

Boo Windows offers window-like swim-throughs and pygmy seahorses in the sea fans. Anchovy is a highlight of southern Misool — Mobula rays weaving through dense anchovy schools, with feeding mantas occasionally circling beyond the reef. Closing dive at the photogenic Nudi Rock.

Dive sites: Boo Windows, Anchovy, Nudi Rock

  7. Day 7: Warakaraket — Misool

    Warakaraket

Diving near the Misool Eco Resort — soft-coral pinnacles at Whale Rock and Tank Rock. Weather permitting, the standout is Shadow Reef (Karang Bayangan / Magic Mountain) in the exposed southern waters, regularly visited by oceanic manta rays.

Dive sites: Whale Rock, Tank Rock, Shadow Reef (Magic Mountain)

  8. Day 8: Daram & Return Crossing

    Daram → Sorong

Morning at Andiamo for pygmy seahorses, hunting giant trevally and barracuda. Final dive at Warna Berwarna with vibrant sea fans, fusilier schools and Bumphead Parrotfish, then the roughly 18-hour passage back to Sorong with a farewell dinner aboard.

    Dive sites: Andiamo, Warna Berwarna

  9. Day 9: Disembark Sorong

    Sorong

Arrival in Sorong around 05:00. Breakfast on board, disembarkation by 11:00 with crew-assisted transfers.
