Dining aboard the Gaya Baru Indah is a delightful affair, with three freshly prepared meals served daily. The menu features a delicious blend of traditional Indonesian and familiar Western cuisine, designed to satisfy diverse palates. In addition to the main meals, a variety of snacks are provided throughout the day to keep guests energized between dives. The crew is highly accommodating of dietary needs, offering vegetarian options as standard and making every effort to cater to specific requests such as vegan meals or other food allergies, which can be noted during the booking process. Complimentary drinking water, tea, and coffee are always available.
The Gaya Baru Indah offers exceptional diving experiences across Indonesia's most renowned sites, including Raja Ampat, Triton Bay, and the Banda Sea. Raja Ampat is celebrated for its incredible biodiversity, boasting vibrant coral reefs, a profusion of fish species, and frequent sightings of manta rays and various shark species, including the highlight of whale sharks on certain itineraries. Dive groups are kept deliberately small, with a maximum of four divers per guide, ensuring personalized attention and an uncrowded underwater experience. Night dives are a regular feature, adding an exciting dimension to the daily diving schedule. The vessel provides a shaded dive deck equipped with ample individual gear storage and dedicated rinse tanks, including a separate area for underwater camera equipment. Nitrox is supplied free of charge for certified divers, allowing for extended bottom times and more dives.

Airport transfers are an optional extra, costing 50 USD per trip. Guests are responsible for arranging their own transfers to the embarkation ports, which vary depending on the itinerary (e.g., Waisai for Raja Ampat, Sorong or Ambon for Banda Sea).
We strongly recommend all guests to purchase comprehensive dive accident insurance and trip cancellation insurance before departure. Dive accident insurance covers medical treatment, hyperbaric chamber costs, and emergency evacuation in the event of a diving incident. Trip cancellation insurance protects your financial investment — not only if you need to cancel or cut short your trip due to personal illness, injury, or other unforeseen circumstances, but also if the trip is postponed or cancelled by the operator due to severe weather, technical issues, or other operational reasons. In the unlikely event of operator insolvency, cancellation insurance can also help recover your payments. Please ensure your policies are valid for the entire duration of your trip and cover the planned activities.
