This advanced itinerary explores some of the most celebrated dive sites in the Red Sea. The trip focuses on iconic wrecks, including those at Abu Nuhas, the SS Thistlegorm, and the Salem Express. It also features the vibrant coral ecosystems of Ras Mohamed National Park and the deep, current-swept walls of the Brother Islands, which are known for attracting large pelagic species like sharks and tuna.

Day-by-day plan

  1. Day 1: Check Dive & Depart

    Hurghada

    Upon arrival at the airport, guests are transferred to the vessel for check-in. Once all passengers are onboard, the boat departs from the port. A check dive will be conducted during the day.

  2. Day 2: Abu Nuhas Wrecks

    Abu Nuhas / Gubal Island

    The voyage begins by sailing north towards Gubal Island and the Abu Nuhas reef system. This area is renowned as a ship graveyard, offering spectacular dives on four well-known wrecks: the Giannis D, Carnatic, and the wrecks known as the Lentil and Tile wrecks, all of which host abundant fish life.

  3. Day 3: Thistlegorm & Rosalie Moller

    Straits of Gubal

    Following a brief transit across the Straits of Gubal, the itinerary highlights two Red Sea shipwrecks. Divers explore the Rosalie Moller, frequently enveloped by schools of glassfish, and the SS Thistlegorm. The Thistlegorm is a British World War II ship with preserved military provisions, such as trucks and motorcycles. Depending on conditions, a night dive may be available at this location.

  4. Day 4: Ras Mohamed National Park

    Ras Mohamed National Park

    The voyage progresses to the Sinai Peninsula for exploration of Ras Mohamed National Park. The day starts with a dive at Shark and Yolanda reefs, known for their sea creatures and underwater structures.

  5. Day 5: The Brother Islands

    The Brother Islands

    Journeying southward, the vessel arrives at the Brother Islands, two isolated peaks emerging from the abyss. Designated a Marine Park, these islands boast spectacular wall dives adorned with vibrant soft corals and dense gorgonian growth. The locale draws in substantial pelagic species such as tuna, barracuda, and diverse shark populations, including hammerheads and oceanic whitetips. For those keen on shipwrecks, the Aida II and Numidia await exploration along the Big Brother walls.

  6. Day 6: Safaga & Return Journey

    Safaga

    The liveaboard begins its return journey towards Hurghada, stopping in the Safaga area for a memorable finale. The day's dives will take place at either the expansive Panorama Reef, with its huge coral formations, or the famous and poignant wreck of the Salem Express.

  7. Day 7: Final Dives & Return to Port

    Hurghada

    The last day offers two morning dives, carefully scheduled to meet the 24-hour no-fly requirement before air travel. The vessel reaches the port around 13:00, where it will remain overnight. Later, guests have time to organize their gear, explore the marina, and take care of any outstanding payments.

  8. Day 8: Disembarkation

    Hurghada

    Check-out takes place early in the morning. All guests will disembark by midday for their onward travel arrangements.
