Day-by-day plan

  1. Day 1: Arrival and Embarkation – Male

    Guests are welcomed at Male airport by the crew and transferred to the liveaboard. Upon arrival, an orientation and welcome briefing will be provided by the Cruise Director. Guests will be shown to their cabins and can set up their equipment, with time to settle in before dinner.

  2. Day 2: North Male Atoll – Reef Exploration

    Today's diving focuses on the North Male Atoll, exploring sites such as Fish Tank and Lankan Manta Point. Fish Tank is known for its strong currents which attract schools of stingrays and various reef fish, offering excellent visibility. Lankan Manta Point, a popular cleaning station for manta rays, provides opportunities for encounters, especially during the southwest monsoon season, with white-tip reef sharks and turtles also commonly sighted.

  3. Day 3: North Male Atoll – Channel Diving

    This day continues exploration of North Male Atoll, focusing on channels and vibrant reef systems. Divers can expect to encounter various reef fish and potentially larger pelagic species as they explore the underwater landscapes.

  4. Day 4: South Male Atoll – Diverse Channels and Thilas

    Diving in South Male Atoll features sites like Embudu Kandu and Kandooma Thila, known for their strong currents and abundant marine life. Embudu Kandu offers a 35-45 meter deep channel with a thriving reef on its north-east side, home to grey reef sharks and barracudas. Kandooma Thila is a renowned pinnacle featuring soft corals and a variety of reef fish, with strong currents often bringing in pelagic species.

Visibility can reach up to 40 meters, offering clear views of the vibrant ecosystem. The channel is not recommended for beginners due to the strong currents, but it promises exciting encounters for experienced divers.

    In Vaavu Atoll, Alimatha House Reef offers an excellent night diving experience, often considered one of the best in the Maldives. Maximum depth does not exceed 15 meters, providing a safe and rewarding night dive for divers.

    After breakfast, guests will check out from the liveaboard. Transfers to the airport will be arranged according to individual flight schedules.
