This 12-day round trip from Sorong is the extended version of DUNE Aurora's Central/South Raja Ampat route, spending two additional days in the soft-coral kingdom of Misool before transiting north to the high-voltage current dives of the Dampier Strait. Operating from November to April when north-west winds make Misool accessible, the cruise combines southern karst-island reefs with iconic central sites such as Cape Kri and Blue Magic. Sorong
Pick-up at Sorong (DJJ) airport and transfer to the Aurora. After boarding and welcome briefing, an easy check dive is conducted before the vessel sets course overnight south toward Misool.

Three dives on Misool's south-east reefs — steep walls, sea fans, dense glassfish schools and macro life including pygmy seahorses.
Misool
Diving Boo Windows with its iconic natural archways, plus surrounding reefs. Surface intervals may include a kayak excursion into a hidden karst lagoon.

Continued diving on Misool's outer reefs and seamounts (exact sites chosen by the cruise director based on currents). Vibrant soft corals, reef sharks and potential pelagic encounters.

Additional day in the Misool area allowing the cruise director to revisit favorite sites or explore reefs less commonly visited on shorter itineraries.

Last full day in Misool. Diving on selected reefs; optional topside hike up a limestone pinnacle for panoramic views of the karst labyrinth.

Morning dives in northern Misool or open-water reefs along the route, then transit toward the central Dampier Strait. Afternoon at sea.

Diving Cape Kri (world-record fish diversity) with schools of jacks, barracuda and snappers, plus grey reef sharks. Additional dives on reefs around Kri and Mansuar islands.

Blue Magic seamount with reef manta cleaning stations and pelagic action. Further drift dives in the strait; evening muck dive offers a chance to find the endemic Raja Ampat walking shark.

Continued diving in the Dampier Strait — exact sites chosen by the cruise director based on tides. Strong currents reward divers with dense schooling fish and frequent shark sightings.

Two final morning dives in the Dampier Strait followed by the return transit to Sorong. Farewell dinner on board.
