This itinerary explores the remote southern Red Sea, renowned for its pristine offshore reefs and strong currents that attract large pelagic species. Divers will experience drift dives along sheer walls, inspect historic wrecks within sheltered lagoons, and encounter oceanic sharks, schooling fish, and vibrant coral formations. Beginning with the iconic Daedalus Reef, the journey progresses south to the wild islands of Zabargad and Rocky before returning north to Elphinstone for exhilarating encounters. This expedition is ideal for experienced divers seeking high-voltage diving and a chance to witness the Red Sea's majestic open-ocean life.
Guests arrive and check in at the Port Ghalib marina. After the welcome briefing and dinner, the vessel begins the long overnight journey south into the deep southern Red Sea.
The vessel arrives at Daedalus Reef for the first dives. The plan is to explore the north plateau with hopes of encountering schooling hammerheads, followed by a drift dive along the western wall.

After a final morning dive at Daedalus, the journey continues south to the remote Zabargad Island. Its sheltered lagoon provides a calm anchorage for the night.

Divers explore the unique topography of Zabargad, known for its turquoise lagoon and impressive coral formations. A key dive is the shallow 'Khanka' wreck, an old Russian surveillance vessel.

A short cruise takes the vessel to Rocky Island. Known for its strong currents and sheer drop-offs, this island offers exhilarating drift dives with spectacular soft corals and a high chance of pelagic sightings. A night dive is planned near shore.

This day is primarily a travel day as the vessel begins the long journey north from the deep south. One or two dives are made at an intermediary reef system if time and conditions permit.

The vessel arrives at Elphinstone Reef for the final day of diving. Divers explore its famous north and south plateaus, known for thrilling currents and encounters with large predatory fish.
