Embark on an extraordinary journey starting with muck diving in Ambon, then traversing the historic Banda Sea. This expedition traces the perimeter of remote islands, offering encounters with stunning drop-offs, vibrant coral, and abundant marine life. Expect to see macro critters, sea snakes, schooling fish, and larger pelagics like manta rays, reef sharks, and possibly even scalloped hammerheads. The trip culminates in the biodiverse waters of Raja Ampat, providing a comprehensive diving adventure.

Day-by-day plan

  1. Day 1: Arrival in Ambon

    Upon arrival at Pattimura Airport in Ambon, guests will be met by staff and transferred to the awaiting Blue Manta. It is recommended to arrive before midday to allow for potential check dives in Ambon Bay before the overnight sail. There will be no diving on this day if arriving in the afternoon.

  2. Day 2: Banda Islands Exploration

    Explore the captivating Banda Islands, renowned for their excellent visibility, extensive coral coverage, and vast schools of fish. This area also offers opportunities for spotting hammerhead sharks and includes a visit to one of the historic Spice Islands. Three dives are scheduled for the day.

  4. Day 4: Ring of Fire Diving

    Dive around the volcanic islands and impressive seamounts of the 'Ring of Fire' region, actively searching for hammerhead sharks. Encounters may also include sea snakes, large schools of reef sharks, tuna, and other pelagic species. Three dives are scheduled for the day.

  5. Day 5: Ring of Fire Diving

    Dive around the volcanic islands and impressive seamounts of the 'Ring of Fire' region, actively searching for hammerhead sharks. Encounters may also include sea snakes, large schools of reef sharks, tuna, and other pelagic species. Three dives are scheduled for the day.

  6. Day 6: West Seram & Pulau Koon

    Enjoy a full day of wide-angle diving amidst vibrant corals and an abundance of fish life in the areas of West Seram and Pulau Koon. In the evening, the vessel will set sail towards Misool. Three dives are scheduled for the day. West Seram offers spectacular vertical walls and slopes adorned with prolific soft corals and sponges, attracting large schools of fusiliers, snappers, and trevallies. Pulau Koon, often referred to as 'Little Raja Ampat,' boasts rich reefs with diverse hard and soft corals, where divers frequently encounter reef sharks, tuna, and barracuda, making it a hotspot for pelagic action.

  7. Day 7: Misool Exploration

    Dive around the renowned sites of Wayil, Fiabacet, and Boo, experiencing the best of Misool's spectacular reefs. This region is famous for its rich biodiversity and stunning underwater topography. Three to four dives are scheduled for the day.

  8. Day 8: Misool Exploration

    Dive around the renowned sites of Wayil, Fiabacet, and Boo, experiencing the best of Misool's spectacular reefs. This region is famous for its rich biodiversity and stunning underwater topography. Three to four dives are scheduled for the day.

  9. Day 9: Misool Diving & Sail to Sorong

    Enjoy morning dives in Misool, savoring the last underwater experiences of the trip. Afterward, the vessel will sail back to Pelabuhan Perikanan Sorong (harbor), where guests will spend their final night on board. This day allows ample time to wash and dry equipment, rest, and prepare for departure. Two dives are scheduled for the day.

  10. Day 10: Departure from Sorong

    Check out between 5 AM and 10 AM after a light breakfast and farewells. Guests will be transferred to their local hotel or to the airport for connecting flights to destinations such as Manado, Makassar, Jakarta, or Denpasar.
