Day-by-day plan

  1. Day 1: Embarkation in Alor

    Guests will be met at Mali Airport or a local hotel and transferred to the Blue Manta at Kalabahi Port. After boarding, there will be a local check dive and possibly a night dive, depending on the arrival schedule.

  2. Day 2: Alor & Pantar Strait

    Alor & Pantar Strait

    Diving takes place in the Alor and Pantar Strait, encompassing islands like Kepa, Pura, Ternate, and Buaya. This area is characterized by nutrient-rich currents and varied dive site topographies, supporting a high diversity of coral and fish. A visit to a local village may be offered as an alternative to one of the dives.

  3. Day 3: Alor & Pantar Strait

    The exploration of the Alor and Pantar Strait continues, offering more opportunities to experience its adventurous currents and abundant marine life. The waters between Pantar and Alor are rich with both large and small aquatic species. A village visit might be substituted for a dive.

  4. Day 4: Alor & Pantar Strait

    On the final day in this area, divers will continue to explore the dynamic sites of the Alor and Pantar Strait. The region is known for its healthy coral ecosystems and plentiful fish. There is a potential option to visit a local village instead of one of the scheduled dives.

  5. Day 5: Treweg Island or Beanbagan

    Treweg Island or Beanbagan

    The day's diving is focused on either Treweg Island or Beanbagan. Beanbagan is particularly noted for its black sand bottom, which provides an excellent habitat for spotting various critters. Following the dives, the vessel will begin its journey towards Lembata.

  6. Day 6: Pulau Lembata

    Pulau Lembata

    Diving occurs around Pulau Lembata, an area where smoldering volcanoes meet clear waters. The underwater landscape is adorned with pristine black corals and large sponges. After the day's dives, the boat will sail back towards Alor.

  7. Day 7: Alor

    The last two dives of the trip offer a chance to revisit favorite sites in the Alor region. Afterwards, the boat returns to port, where guests will spend the final night onboard. The afternoon provides ample time to wash and dry equipment and relax.
