About this route

Explore the pristine southern Red Sea, renowned for its dramatic wall dives, vibrant coral gardens, and abundant pelagic encounters. This itinerary ventures to the remote islands of Rocky, Zabargad, and St. Johns, offering a true expedition character with deep reefs, oceanic currents, and a high likelihood of spotting sharks, barracuda, and other large marine life. Divers can expect diverse topographies, from sheer drop-offs to intricate reef systems, all teeming with a rich variety of colorful fish. The extended time in these distant waters allows for thorough exploration of some of Egypt's most untouched underwater environments.

Day-by-day plan

  1. Day 1: Embarkation at 18:00 followed by dinner and briefings.

    Guests embark the Blue Horizon in the evening. Dinner will be served, followed by important briefings.

  2. Day 2: Up to 2 dives

    Divers can look forward to up to two dives today from the Blue Horizon.

  3. Day 3: Up to 4 dives per day, typically scheduled as follows:

    Up to 4 dives per day, typically scheduled as follows: · Light Breakfast, followed by a briefing & Dive 1 · Full Breakfast, relaxation period, briefing & Dive 2 · Lunch, relaxation period, briefing & Dive 3 · Snack, relaxation period, briefing & Dive 4* · Dinner

  4. Day 4: Up to 4 dives per day, typically scheduled as follows:

    This is the fourth day of diving. Up to four dives are conducted, following the typical schedule.

  5. Day 5: Up to 4 dives per day, typically scheduled as follows:

    Day 5 means more fantastic diving. Divers will enjoy up to four dives today, as is typical on this trip.

  6. Day 6: Up to 4 dives per day, typically scheduled as follows:

    This is the sixth day of diving from the Blue Horizon. Up to four dives may be scheduled today.

  7. Day 7: Two morning dives

    Day 7 featured two morning dives.

  8. Day 8: Breakfast on board followed by disembarkation between 09:00 and 10:00.
