Guests check in and board the vessel in Port Ghalib, followed by an overnight stay in the harbor. This allows time to settle into cabins and prepare for the diving adventure ahead.
The journey begins with a visit to Abu Dabab and Marsa Trombe, offering initial dives to explore coastal reefs. The day concludes with an overnight cruise, positioning the boat for the next day's adventures.
Diving commences at the Brothers Islands, renowned for their dramatic walls and rich pelagic encounters. Divers often spot oceanic whitetip and thresher sharks patrolling the drop-offs. The area is also known for large tuna activity.
A second day is dedicated to exploring the Brothers Islands. The deep walls continue to offer opportunities for thrilling drift dives and sightings of pelagic species. The vibrant reefs here host a variety of colorful fish and diverse marine life.
The itinerary moves to Daedalus Reef, a remote offshore site celebrated for its pristine hard coral formations and strong pelagic action. This reef offers excellent chances to encounter schooling hammerhead sharks and occasional manta rays, particularly on its plateaus and along the walls.
Another day is spent at Daedalus Reef, further exploring its extensive hard coral gardens and deep walls before an overnight cruise towards Abu Dabab. The reef is known for strong currents that attract a variety of large marine life, including grey reef sharks.
The legendary Elphinstone Reef awaits, famous for its stunning coral walls and frequent sightings of oceanic whitetip and grey reef sharks. Rich coral gardens, anthias clouds, and diverse reef life make this a vibrant and exciting dive experience. The boat then returns to Port Ghalib for an overnight stay in the harbor.
After breakfast, guests will check out from the liveaboard in Soma Bay, marking the end of the trip.
